Wouldn't it make sense to always keep an exit in sight once discovered, and then build a town in that area? Edit: It has been pointed out in other sources that the doors may disappear even when in sight, so this could prove to be a useless effort, but it's not really mentioned in most of the animated stories.
A couple more rules about 3008 _The entrace/exit is always the same on the outside, but changed everyday once you've been inside. _However the path, the inside interior will stay the same for a whole day so if you enter with a long rope that track to the exit, you can walk back and be out of there before night time.

the thing is, this place has infinite food and water because the food courts are self replenishing. There is modern age technology everywhere in the building, That means that someone smart enough could form a modern society entirely within SCP-3008 and they could potentially recreate modern weapons and extract rare earth metals of circuit boards found in any computer, tv screen or light. This means that because the IKEA is infinite they could have infinite resources and become advanced enough to predict where the exits are and may choose to not leave because it is better in their infinite utopia than the outside limited world.
