More of these games. The concept of a complete game and user friendly startup guides (this video) to manage your printed output is on point. Wish you much money.
I'm not gonna lie, I'm only here for the ships and game aids. But they are incredible and worth the price alone. It's been very hard for me to find decent spaceships over the years. I had a sample ship printed, and the ship is amazing. I'm ever thinking of buying my own printer now. If Fat Dragon Games ever decides to put out a generic line of 3d printed spaceships, I'll be near the head of the line. I'm also hoping we get multi-part ships. A ship that prints in several parts, and then you flip one part over insert say a ship-to-stand connector to join each half. If Fat Dragon Games ever puts out a set of 3d printable starship parts that you can build you own spaceship with, I will be first in line to buy.
Love it, simple rules, cool ships. I've printed the destroyers with .4mm nozzle and the look great, took paint good too. Can't wait for more ships and races!
Bought the starter set and printed some of these to play Void Admiral. I'm sure that I'll print the ship control panels soon and play as originally intended. My lads have just come back from Uni and they think the models are really cool. The ships and the asteroids/ mines look so cool and were so easy to print and paint. A1Mini with 0.2mm, definately better with smooth rather than textured plate.
Yes, I plan on doing one. In the meantime the rulebook is available for free here: www.wargamevault.com/product/499502/BATTLEFRONT-VALKYRIE-SAMPLE-RULEBOOK
Just got this the other day, and am prepping to print it! My sons and I are super excited to play. One quick feedback is it would be super helpful (at least to a person like me, read a little lazy) If you listed the number of tokens, templates, dials, etc to be printed under section 1.2 Required materials. Thanks for all the hard work and love put into this game!
@@adrianaustralia9135 it's designed for and tested on the A1 family, but I have been told it produces very good results on the core XY machines as well.
@@Tombof3DPrintedHorrorssorry for my confusion, but could only find the "custom Bambu studio miniatures profile" on wargame vault. Is this the same as your ship profile?
Purchased the starter set with one of the expansions as it has intrigued me as I am a Star Trek/ Star Wars fan it the ships have the ST look. However, I've printed the ships with my resin printer, using basic settings, ships turned out very nice, but I found the ship base (for the support rod) did not fit so well. Thus I am wondering if using an FDM printer is better or if I perhaps refine the settings so that the base fits better. Anyone else print the ships with resin? Otherwise, I look forward to playing it :D
Printing question, I realise the centre engine is printed flat, but why not include a tab and slot system? Also, do you have files for resin printed ships?
Just bought the Valkyrie starter set, My printer is the Bambulab P1S, which FDG profile can I use? Have a good 2025 with many nwe prints. Greetings from the Netherlands
My miniature profile settings for the A1/A1 Mini work fine on the P1S, but you'll have too input them manually (screen shots of all of them are included in the download.) Also, .2mm nozzle recommended.
Okay I have the files. I have a A1 mini. how do I get the files to the A1 mini? The files are on my PC at work so how do I get all those cool files I have on there to my printer at home?
USB thumb drive or just log into your DTRPG/WGV account and re-download them from your account library. There is always a permanent archive copy there you can access at any time. :)

Just printing my Terran ships from the starter pack. Using the A1 with .2mm nozzle and FDG profile. Looking fantastic.

A friend and I recently started playing World War Tesla, will definetly be giving this game a look, love the Trek aesthetic
Thanks!
Very cool! Will you make a video explaining the rules? The ships look nice, but I'd like to understand how the game plays before I buy it.

how bout a video on how you painted the ships... those are really AWESOME!!!! I just painted them in the Blue Angels and Thunderbird schemes.
Working on one now. And PLEASE post pics of those over on our Facebook group here, I'd love to see them! facebook.com/groups/528423924186756

@Tombof3DPrintedHorrors I would also like to see a painting tutorial.
Just picked this up tonight, looking forward to printing them tomorrow!
I really impressed with your work 😍😍

I just watched a video about this on another channel. I will have to get this I love how you did this.
Thank you!
Came from other channel and this is amazing!!!
Thank you!
This is *such* a cool concept, I love it! 😁
Thanks! :)
@Tombof3DPrintedHorrors I know what I'll be printing over the weekend 😉
Your game looks really cool, I'd love to see a demo!
Thanks! No demo video at this time, but the complete rulebook is a free download. :)
I like the look of this. I think it's worth a try for the price (washed up Armada player here haha)
Is there a video of the game being played and some rules being explained so I can see if this is a good game to buy?
No video as of yet, but the rulebook is a free download. :)
I can't remember what channel has done a play video but they're out there.
Love the look and theme of it but i cant find any videos going through the rules.

Those look fantastic Tom, will you do a video covering printing the ships?
Yep, and I also have a Bambu Studio ship slicer profile for download. :)

I was about to suggest the same thing, a tab and slot system for the ship design. Maybe @Tombof3DPrintedHorrors can add them?

Unlce Adam brought me here. Before I support, any chance these print with a resin printer?
So is their any solo play missions / ai for the game?

Dumb question: Why no peg and hole for the engines?
The pegs would be too small to be of use for alignment.
