It is always emotional to watch your home. Hows the place by the way? Is it much crowdy and fast life or peaceful place? And what about job opportunities there. I think you are the best person to answer that. Thanks in advance :)
My family moved to BS in 1985. Mum still lives in the same house in Thorley. That last shot with the public garden in the middle I remember as a field. Across the road also. I remember looking out of my bedroom window and seeing fields. That was before St Michaels Mead et al was built early 1990s.
Its a lovely place, but rapidly being destroyed by overdevelopment as seen in the "Stortford Fields" and "Stortford North" construction sites in the video, these are nearly complete now and the tiny town is drowning with cars and strangled by gridlock most days :(
I lived there from 1962 to 1979 and I can safely say that it was always being destroyed by development but somehow still manages to be a delightful place to live by all accounts.
I just received a call that showed up on my phone as "Bishops Stortford" a couple of minutes ago. So, I can only assume everyone over there needs to get a hold of me, which I find rather peculiar as I'd never even heard of the place until I looked it up and to my surprise learned that it's a place in England. But, now that you have my attention, what can I do for you?

I spotted some green places yet to be built on! Bishops Stortford used to be such a pleasant market town........
Hello!
How did you manage to fly over the town? Did you have to get special permissions and from whom??

Shame it’s turning into another Harlow.
In Harlow you can park and there is green space. In Harlow there is a hospital and a Police Station which is open.
We will never be anything like Harlow... Stortford is unique and nothing like that hell hole
@@andyhudson2016 sadly it is getting like harlow.
