How do you switch the Skylanders on the card
Can I use a Skylander Portal as a NFC Reader ?
Figured I would ask. I got right writer. Never got a sure answer on cards so got 4 different kinds.everything goes just like video. But then I put my card on the portal and it just reads the element then like it resets and keeps reading element over and over but no character. ANYONE else seen this. I found them pre made somewhere but expensive. Any help at all would be a life saver. I bought 2 somewhere already made and they work flawless.

I see your file used is a ".key.dump" file
I have the ".dmp" files that come from my own figures I used to play with and want to move it to NFC cards.

well i a little bit late but, in question of swap force skylanders, can you make swap force skylanders with the changes of body? also where can i get the dump files?
To get the file I recommend bumble blasters nfc card tutorial as in the description he has links to all skylanders drop files on Google drive
And regarding the swap force there is a file for them where you will have to use 2 cards one card for the top half of he skylanders and one for the bottom half of the skylanders but apart from that I should all be fine 👍

Ntag cards wont work, you need rfid i believe.
Will the portal of power work in place of the nfc reader?
no, you need the nfc reader to put the dump file onto the card
When I try write the cards a error pops up "Error: Card was removed"
Have you been able to fix it?
is it normal that my card won't get read by my portal and that i only have 63 of 64 block?

Just to clarify, any character can be downloaded to it and it functions the same as a skylanders figure?

They are in my Discord server, in the "Skylanders NFC" category. Check the "dump-files-ssa" Channel and they should be there. (For the moment we only have all the Skylanders Spyro's Adventure Characters)

No, because the portal is a NFC reader only, it needs to be a writer/reader NFC.

That means that the cards you have are not mifare cards

how much memory do you need on the nfc card?
every skylander including traps dump file is 1kb, any memory would work

@@itzexzilty there are more requirements than just that. NTAG cards aren't the same kind of nfc chips that are inside of Skylanders
ideally the specs should have a size of 1k, be 13.56 mhz, and be UID rewritable

hey, I updated it, check the pinned comment.
So it is working, but i get an error sign when it is succesful, but it says corrupted when i put it on. and when i try to restore it, it keeps sending me the same screen. and when i put on another card on, it registers the diffrent card as the card with data on it. and the same with the other cards aswell.
I even bought the exact same reader, and it's LED stopped working, even though it still works for some things like mwt
I wonder how it could work with swappers
I believe you have to have two cards one for the top and one for the bottom and then you just place them on the portal

@@riccardopelino probably wouldn’t work just like the figures themselves not sure tho
@@riccardopelino you just install half on the swapper on one card and the other half on the other card,put the 2 cards on the portal and it should work
how can this work with traps if they're big cards
Just place it on the portal and the trap will show up
