💡 PRO TIP: For those of you setting different 'Dance Floor Center' position cues for your movers / scanners at each venue, you can save yourself some time by saving a profile for that particular venue once you've got your position dialed in. That way you can reuse that SoundSwitch profile each time you're at that venue in the future, rather than having to set that position during each subsequent visit. To do this while in 'Edit Mode': 1) Right click on the name of your profile at the top right of your screen and choose 'Duplicate Venue' from the drop down menu. 2) Right click on the newly created venue tab and choose 'Rename Venue' from the drop down menu and rename it using the name of the venue and hit enter. 3) Select your newly created venue tab and then double click on your 'Dance Floor Center' position cue on the left side of your screen to open the position editor. 4) Set your lights to focus on the center of the dance floor in the position editor and click 'Apply'. 5) Save by typing ⌘S or clicking 'File' in your menu bar and clicking 'Save Lightshow'. I've been using Soundswitch since the original box launched. All I can say is if you are using DMX lights this is a must have. Basic auto loops with improve you light show, Using the auto shows will bring your light show to the next level. If you're using sound active mode on your lights still you're competition is smoking you.
@@davisjoe68 it can used as a midi device so you can use it but has to be mapped to soundswitch. I just have blackout , strobe, and the white out button active. And some other Marcos but not to much.

What if I want to press those buttons uder bank button live. Like live vj-ing or smth... Can I do one light and one effect on the same light for each botton ? So I can play live with my lights.. Autoloops are good but can I play with some lights over runing autoloop... Also in this video I saw that your buttons, like white or strobe , works in toggle mode... mine i need to press again to switch stobe off. White is working as yours
It has to be in soundswitch. Which if its not soundswitch is very fast to add. Then we have a quick tutorial video that allows you to add in any fixture in less than 10 minutes. We did the hard part of porgramming everything for you

They do work but when you work with a fixture like the gig bars, they use a pretty large DMX universe space because of all the attributes and sub-fixtures built into it. With all of those channels, you will need to do some of your own work to make the gig bar look good. Otherwise it just looks pretty basic with the software.
SS you program the fixture type. We include videos with our programmed file on how to easily add in fixtures outside both lighting. The program is set for any wash/par type fixture or moving fixtures.

Yes. You will a couple additional steps to do. We included a video with the purchase that shows you how to do it. But in summery. You will have to add the fixtures, drop them into the moving head group, then set the postions points in the edit mode. It will take maybe 30 minutes to do all that.
Just checked in Sound Switch for you, intimidator 350s are supported , as well as the 350 FX and 3550's , 360s, ect if something isnt suported, you can send them a copy of them manual / channel info section and they will add it to their catalogue and provide you the model name / product so you can add it in , they were truly a pleasure to work with on the customer support side of things! i have some vids using it if you want a demo!
Yes that is what I was explaining. The main programming was for the autoloops. You can then. Add in additional fixtures and they will use the snap to those color combinations

Hey Rick I have the Chauvet Wash FX Hex, and I have tried to dmx them with sound switch, however, i am having the most difficulty with them. One when they are dmx they are not very bright and I only get two colours. I have tried them in 3 Ch, 6Ch, 11Ch and 40Ch, at they don't see to work very well do you have any suggestions

The info is great….the demo not so much. Basically saw two moving heads changing colors and turning up/down/side to side. Didn’t really give a good view of what the other lights were doing.
those are best for festivals and big shows, not mobile dj's for weddings and proms, sweet 16's. It's too expensive and just not necessary for 5 to 20 lights.

The GBM is actually the default fixture when you start the program. It's the easiest of all use use - literally plug and play.

You can buy the program out right. And it's not hands on at all. I press a button maybe 20 times in 4 hours
