Thank you Amy❣️I haven’t warmed Sweet & Sassy but on cold sniff it’s pretty. My Tink watches my videos so I’m going to have to haul a couple of extra bars to have on hand for when she visits this summer! She’ll be excited for that one.
I can’t wait to see your collab video! My LTO standouts are from the mango collection. I have clubbed mango shortcake and mango margarita. I also really love the new Tinkerbell sweet & sassy bar. It is light but it is unique. I have it warming in my bedroom. Blue coconut beach is another I really like. Oh……Hazelnut Latte and Crumb Top I clubbed from the last BBMB and I wish I had put more of both in my quarterly club. Those two would be my standout favorites so far for 2023 LTO’s.

The story of your sweet & sassy Tink!🥰. Liking the Mango Margarita and cake and Strawberry Lemon cake, when I can smell it.
My Tink watches my videos - she is going to love that I mentioned her💕 I find Strawberry Lemon Cake light too but for summer it might be ok. I might experiment with it to see if I can beef it up. The Mango Shortcake seemed a bit stronger but I’ve only warmed it once 🤞🏻
I love summer / spring scents - I warm them all year! I wish I could live somewhere tropical so I use scent to kinda transport me to my tropical paradise / headspace ❤🥰😇 I unfortunately have been getting headaches from some of my former favorite scents or from scents I do really like! I hope it’s just spring time allergies… I love being outside too but don’t have warmers there. This is coming up on my favorite time of year - June & July! 🎉🎉🎉 i love Stargazing from last year or the year before - I clubbed it last minute bc I never tried it & I really love it! I stick to my one quarterly club so I watch other people’s videos to determine if I might like a scent or not… I’m really excited to try Aloha Orchid (I think that’s the name)!! Anything with Aloha I love!! Haha
I have a good friend Courtney who like you lives for warm weather & tropical lushness! This is your season! Both my daughters get spring-time allergies, I hope for your sake it’s temporary. I haven’t warmed Aloha Orchid yet - I have a bar so I’m hoping to warm it soon so I can review it in my next empties video 🤞🏻I want to find more spring summer favourites. Stargazing is in my club too!! It’s one of my favourite scents 🙌 🤗
I do hope some of your warm weather 🌤️ drifts over to Ontario soon lol! You got some great feedback from your girl gang and I think they are right on the money. For me, the LTO’s so far this year have been a disappointment. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the fall season (my favourite) brings some great collections. Looking forward to your collab with Elizabeth. That’ll be so much fun!
My husband’s family all live in Ontario & they always blaming their bad weather on us 🤣 It’s another warm day here today as I answer this - 26C but rain is forecasted for the weekend so look out 😂 Yes I asked my girl gang for honest opinions & they shared them. They all prefer fall-winter mind you so that might be a slight factor. I’m usually much more enthusiastic about LTOs & SOTMs in the second half of the year too!
Mint fields reminds me of a minty tomato vine and I love it!

The only LTO I have added to my club in 2023 (excluding Jan BBMB) is Mint Fields. I like it on its own but think it might be nice with Sparkling Yellow or Coco Lime too. Looking forward to your collaboration with Liz and hope your Tink likes Scentsy's!!

There have been some winners in this year’s LTOs for me-I’m not a pink scent collector, so just a bar or two of Pink Whatever is generally plenty for me. But Pink Sunshine from the Easter collection is a very good dupe for a perfume that I ADORE called Baccarat Rouge 540. The scent notes are nothing like the perfume notes, but the warm scent is unmistakable. That’ll be a keeper for a long long time.
The Father’s Day scents are both winners for me, but I’ll be happy with a haul rather than club.
I also love Chamomile Petals enough to club, the herbal edge in that cuts the floral so nicely for me and it performs so well in my 1930s house. My 17yo son even asked me to get more of it! And I’m sentimental about chamomile because, after almost two years of very slow recovery from Covid anosmia, chamomile was the last scent I got back (or in my case, the last flavor-I could taste chamomile tea again). So that bar has a little personal celebration mixed into the wax. :)
Oh Cristin 🤗 I can’t imagine almost 2 years without a sense of smell or even partial. So glad it’s back. A friend of my sister’s had the same experience. I’ll have to try Chamomile Petals in my living room. I warmed it in my bedroom & didn’t get a chance to really test it or appreciate it. I also enjoy the Father’s Day bars & will haul more in June. Probably not club bars for me either. I have to be really discerning about what I club - both of mine are at my limit already 🤦🏼♀️

I clubbed Violet Spun Sugar & Pineapple Rose. I like Desert Rock & Citron a lot on cold but haven’t warmed it. Strawberry Lemon Cake is ok. I’m just wanting a good old fashioned powerhouse!
Desert Rock was my favourite of the duo Mary. It was the better performer but not strong. I did find that in the first several hours it was lighter but after a while the oils came to life & the scent was more noticeable. Strawberry Lemon Cake is too light for me but ‘desperate times call for desperate measures’ - I need some kind of bakery to go with all the fruity. Pineapple Rose was a boomer when I tried it. Yes the good old fashion powerhouse scents seem to be in short supply these days. A couple of the fruit scents fit the bill but it would be nice to have more!
I always love hearing your girl gang’s thoughts! I agree with them - so many scents smell similar to other scents lately. My husband mentions this every time I have him smell an LTO or SOTM. I am really craving something innovative and unique. It seems like the more scent notes they put into bars, the more they all tend to smell the same fruity/fresh/perfumey.
Yes Carrie I agree too. The girls did say they thought it was more difficult to find unique scents in spring-summer. This is the third year I’ve had no real favourites - SOTM or LTOs in the first part of the year. I did club Vitamin R & Ravenclaw from early last year but that’s it!

LOL - your description of Plumeria 😂 I love that one but I am going to try Scentsationals Plumeria and see if it’s comparable.
I did end up trying it out in my bedroom. I liked it better on warming. It was lighter & softer than expected. I can see the appeal. I did still get a musty note …maybe not a stale hat box but instead it reminded me of an old lady’s purse with dried up corsage in it. 🤣
Because the catalog bakery section for summer is so sad, I have liked mango shortcake and strawberry lemon cake lots. I put them in my club for now to help get me through the summer with bakery goodness.
Me too Holly! I ended up adding Strawberry Lemon Cake to my quarterly club after this haul. It was too late for Mango Shortcake but I have two bars to use. We’ll get Happy Birthday in BBMB & that one can be warmed in the summer!
Only one of scent of month i out in my club is strawberry lemon cake more so because we get three bakery most year round here and I’m not a fan of blueberry cheesecake cake and as much as I love vanilla bean buttercream I want more than vanilla. But most of the lto and scents of the month have been out of season here so I haven’t been drawn to really want to warm them. Bit like you I am more drawn to the spice bakery and winter scents that we don’t get much off. I think I was born in the wrong region for my home fragrance preference 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I feel for my friends in Region 3 for sure. 🤗💛 We have summer you have winter. We have winter you get bars the don’t match up to your balmy summer weather. Ok maybe because two of the three regions are in the northern hemisphere it is too difficult to accommodate seasonally but I don’t understand why you can’t have the same bakery as us. Doesn’t make sense. 🤷♀️
@@lindah_home_and_scents but if they have the sotm planned for the whole year (which Idk if they do or not) then it shouldn't be too hard to flip around for region 3 they do it with the warmers we don't always have the same one so I don't see why they couldn't do that for them it would probably increase sales in region 3 and it would give all the regions a sneak peak at whats to come later in the year for sotm. And I agree region 3 needs more bakery I'll never complain how small our bakery selection is again now that I'm aware of how little bakery they have.
@@scenteddragronflywithmichelle Yes you would think Scentsy could work it out better. I think they are more concerned with the surprise element to help generate anticipation especially for R1. I’m just guessing on that of course - maybe there’s another business reason we don’t know about. The bakery though that doesn’t make sense. Maybe bakery doesn’t sell as well as I think it does? 🤷♀️

My club order processes on the 22nd and it shipped on the 28th. It’s somehow stuck in Calgary when I am in Ontario. I have never had a shipment go to Calgary before. I have not found a scent of the month that I like yet. The LTOs I also have not found one yet however my Mother’s Day and tinker bell bars are coming in that club shipment
How weird Jessica …Calgary!? I live about about 2 hours south of Calgary. It’s almost a straight line southwest to Idaho. Now that they’re shipping everything from their headquarters maybe it enters Canada through Alberta.🤷♀️ I didn’t mind the Mothers Day bars especially the Blue Coconut Beach but it was light for me. 🤞🏻
@@lindah_home_and_scents ohh yea maybe it’s crossing the boarder in Calgary and then coming to me. I am a little worried about the summer time clubs because my order shipped on the 28th and it says it should be here for the 11th however an ice pack is not going to keep it cold for that long

Hi Linda! 👋 Great haul! You're getting all set for the warm weather 🌞 I agree with your SIL. Coastal Sunset in the Fragrance Flower is fantastic! I'm not a big fan of the wax but the flower is one of my top faves 🌸 I'm excited to see your collab with Liz, that will be a lot of fun! I'm placing dibs (but won't say it here) on what you guys will pick for your favorite warmer 😉 As far as sotm goes I'd have to say that Pink Coconut has been my favorite so far and for lto's I really enjoy Pinkberry Fluff and Blue Coconut Beach ⛱ We're still waiting on the warm weather to show up here, it's supposed to start tomorrow 🤞 It's been a really cool/wet spring so far. More like fall weather really. I couldn't believe it when you said it is 29°C there! 🥵 We've been sitting around 5°C-10°C here and we're supposed to hit around 17°C tomorrow so we're getting there. Thank you Brandi!! 🤗❤️ My husband is from Ontario & his family there have been complaining about the chilly weather. We did not have spring in the first half of April either but then all of a sudden…hot & sunny. Our trees went from bare bones to covered in buds almost overnight. I am the anomaly when it comes to Pink Coconut - I can barely smell it but what I do smell is just sandy rock 🤷♀️ I do like Blue Coconut Beach but it is quite light. I’m experimenting with it though. I’m having a hard time narrowing down my picks for the collab 😬 lol … definitely will have some honourable mentions 🤣

My club was a partial ship as well because of 2 bars one was Around the Campfire the other was Vanilla Cream the funny thing was that they got delivered 2 days after lol the only sotm this year that has stuck out to me is Strawberry Lemon Cake as for other ltos I have enjoyed Pinkberry Fluff from the Easter Collection and have it in my club temporarily to get a few more bars and your a thousand percent correct that it's no Pink Haze I did really also appreciate Manderine Zest for what it was but we aren't really citrus lovers unless it's lemon in our home. That's it tho other than of course some of January's BBMB but I'm also like you and prefer my fall and winter and of course bakery

Thank you Shondi! Wow!…to be perfectly honest if I wasn’t reviewing them for my channel I might not have bothered either. Unless the scent notes called to me. I do usually try one bar of the SOTM. Some of my favourite club bars were SOTMs but it’s often scents from June/July through December.
@@lindah_home_and_scents Yes, I am definitely more of a fall/winter girl too. I love Fairytale Pumpkin, Scary Good and some other SOTMs though. I know I’m in the minority for Fairytale Pumpkin. 🤣 I just don’t care for florals at all.

Yes hot & dry is much better. My husband lived in Ontario which was very hot & humid. When he met me & moved here he was thrilled to discover what he’d been missing. Much easier to cool off when there’s no humidity.
I'll definitely watch the collab and interested to see what would be in your lists! I haven't done any sotm or lto's this year, mainly because I don't blind buy and see a lot of feedback about them being "light" and not performing well. I know everything's getting more expensive in general and appreciate that Scentsy hasn't hiked the price of bars up, but I also feel like they're skimping on the oils and it makes me not curious to try new things... I do love that they brought back some popular lto/sotm bars into the catalog though and that takes the edge off of my frustration with the new lighter stuff.
Thanks Hannah! I’m curious too - can’t wait to see what Elizabeth’s picks are! We share similar loves in Fall-Winter but not sure about S/S! If I wasn’t doing this UA-cam channel I probably wouldn’t try most of the LTOs or SOTMs without hearing reviews first. I watch or read reviews for almost everything I buy. That being said, even as a UA-cam reviewer, I often will skip a collection or a bar if I’m wary. I am also frustrated with how light a lot of these scents have been. I wonder if you’re on to something - if Scentsy is skimping on oils to keep the bars at the current prices.
Truthfully, I'm not very impressed with the new fragrances to the catalog this time around. I think I'll only be clubbing 2 of the new ones when the season is over. Of the ones I tried, none of them were bad, but I just don't feel the need to buy more bars to warm. I suppose I should be grateful that my club won't be expanding even more, but it is still a bit disappointing.
I love Soft Plumeria but I grew up in Hawaii, so that bar feels like home to me. You can't really find Hawaiian florals a lot in wax outside of Hawaii, which is unfortunate. I have already clubbed that one. I find it funny how many yellow bars I have in general. They really do stand out in my stash as the most prominent color at the moment.
I think besides Soft Plumeria and Heirloom Rose from the Epcot Collection, the only other LTO I've clubbed this year was Mandarin Zest from the Easter Collection. I'm hoping the new Summer Collection will have stand out fragrances for me as it's been mostly misses on the collections and Scents of the Month this year for me so far. I am eagerly awaiting May's Scent of the Month though and have high hopes ^-^

I feel the same. I’m almost relieved that I don’t have many club worthy spring-summer bars. Less temptation. I’m so happy for you that you’ve found a scent that reminds you of your home in Hawaii! I’ve visited Hawaii several times & I remember my very first visit - I could smell the lushness, the flowers …in the air the minute I left the airport. Amy - who has a UA-cam channel - has also spent some time living in Hawaii & she gravitates to some of those beautiful florals too. She often connects a Scentsy bar to her memories there. I haven’t clubbed any 2023 LTO’s so far. Now, if scentsy would repackage some of their pre 2021 lto’s or collection bars I’d be saying Yes!
Your girl gang had overall opinions similar to my circle. They haven’t been overly keen on the 10 new release bars these last 3 catalogs.
After seeing vanilla waves and atlantic air bite the dust I wouldn’t be shocked if bonfire beach left too. 🤷🏼♀️

What a great idea! Re-release old LTOs! I’d love the chance to get Toasted Marshmallow again or say the International Collection or some of the other great collections from the past. My girl gang were definitely let down because they like to shop the catalogue instead of using clubs & there was not a lot they loved. I will absolutely be clubbing Bonfire Beach!

Yikes! A 100! And humidity. I can not do humidity - that’s why I never visit my brother in Florida in the summer months. He comes here instead. It can get pretty hot here too but thankfully it’s a dry heat. Mind you then we have forest fire danger. Also I find it challenging to smell wax when the central air is blasting!!🤷♀️
