This was one of Nigella's best interviews/presentations. The interviewer did a wonderful job of communicating her knowledge of Nigella's work, and giving her space to "be." They both shined in their own way.
This is lovely! :) The interviewer is absolutely charming and allows Nigella to actually speak. So many interviewers these days seem to want to ask the questions after rambling about themselves and then interrupt the interviewee while they are answering. NIGELLA, we adore You! She's fabulous.
😋. Nigella's conversation is honest, which I find so delightful and relaxing. Of course, her reaction to eating the food brings a sense of reality, fun, and sometimes a sense of, " oh dear" not what I thought! This honesty is fabulous !! Her beauty is secondary yet she brings it forward in a humorous and again, " it is what it is" straight forward manner! That is a strong woman. Confident, not silly in any way. Do so enjoy her personality.
Incredible interview. for as long as I have been a Nigella Lawson follower, this is a perfectly true " Nigella Lawson" discussion. There is definitely throwback here to her early days as her long time fans will know, but she confirms her own (established) opinions. Someone to research and watch from day one. (I miraculously found her "spruced up vanilla cake" tin today in a store and HAD to Have it. A HUGE fan. Thank you Nigella.
I am vegan and love my food. I also dislike evangelism wherever I find it, but there is definitely especially in the US an incredibly unhealthy way of eating that Nigella in no way promotes as sustainable which also takes on mind-boggling proportions; vast amounts of deep-fried Mars bars etc. and nary a vegetable in sight; she doesn't cook like that; but the self-indulgent carnivore (not necessarily tasty carnivore) bias is equally unfortunate. Let's celebrate a wonderful writer and cook and please ignore the food wars, so wearisome, she'd hate it all, well, I know she does because she's said so.

Shame the sound was so poor.
Loved her speech about the smug clean-eating brigade (Calgary Avosino's sickening smugness makes me retch). Food shaming is wrong and must stop.

There are "nazis" on all sides. This is the reality WE have created on this planet.
Take a bow.
love Nigella!!
Nice interview, but I have no patience for horrible audio in this day and age. They sound like they're at the very back of Meramec Cavern.
Maybe try to be a more patient man.
The people in your life will surely appreciate it. 👌
What the hell is that beeping sound that keeps going off in the interview? How irritating!
