Coming back here after it was announced Lea is gonna play the Witch in Into the Woods here in the Philippines
Lea’s vocal clarity and depth is just EXQUISITE. Even if you don’t know the song at all, you will feel it and understand it right there and then.
She should be in everything all the time
Lea is one of my biggest inspirations as a singer. She hasn't aged a bit.
I agree she looks amazing for her age
Clarity, diction, precision, and emotion. Bravo 👏🏼
Lea is one of the great singers of our time. Has been for decades, and has kept her voice, her looks, and is beloved by millions.
Her voice just😖🥰😭🤩
This is just beautiful. I can't even describe
1:18 - 1:23 Those notes from the piano are so emotional.
Legendary Lea ❤
you are why i live❤
Heartfelt, nuanced, and precise singing. Quite flawless.
Such dedication to the craft! No one else compares. Legend.
Oh my.. what a beautiful song sang beautifully.
Thank you Stephen
So many chills
Lea is amazing what a legend
ma'am, slay 😭😭😭💖💖💖
Oh my Lea ...so heartfelt ❤️
My fav Sondheim musical!!!
Agreed. I was so lucky to play Major Rizzoli in a regional theatre run of Passion. I will never forget it.
My queen! 👏👏👏
She is perfection.
Perfect! 😍
You ARE Fosca in this song. 🥰
The voice the angels aspire to.
MORE!!! MORE!!! MORE!!!
First singer i’ve heard to sing this song in tune. Simply amazing.
Beautiful!
Amazing ♥️♥️
SHE'S PERFECT 😩
Bravo!!
Exquisite
brb i'm crying
is lea the definition of clarity?!
Yes. Yes she is.
Fosca!!!!
She always sings so angrily.
FiRst!1!!1!1!1!
We don't deserve this buhuhuhu
Someone write this woman her Gypsy !
donna murphy’s song
🎶❤️🎶❤️🎶
She's singing but not in character. Fosca, played by Donna Murphy, has a much more melancholic voice.
She is really an overrated singer. I mean, there's no conviction the way she sang the song. The character of the play has a terminal illness and nearly dying. Yes, she clearly enunciated the words but not in character.
Why would she even sing this in character? She can interpret this however she wants to since this is not a play she’s performing in but an online concert, duh!
Let's say she chose not to die for the sake of giving us some hope during the pandemic.
She is NOT in the actual musical, hers is from a purely “presentational” approach - this is a live video concert (due to Covid). She gave the song the RIGHT AMOUHT of “emotion” it required.
