Without any expectation of reward, they treated his ailments, gave him a loving, caring, forever home, and gave him all the love he needed to heal. I hope Karma rewards them all with a long and very happy life together.
Ah, but they did get a reward from Whiskers himself - pure love. Their love and dedication to Whiskers was heartwarming. The result is Whiskers might be blind/partially sighted but turned into a playful, mischievous kitten who I'm sure adores this couple as much as they adore him. I wish there were more people like them in the world. It would be a much happier place. To this couple I say "Thank you for saving this lovely kitten, loving him and giving him the best life possible". They are Earth Angels.

Hi cat lady here, I rescue here in NSW Australia with my family we have 23 permanent house cats and a kitten my daughter found between a shed and fence in the hot Aussie heat . He was very ill we thought we could loose him I sat for two nights in a chair in the quarantine room waiting for him to open his eyes I gave him kitten milk every two hours and on the second day he woke up meowed and sat on my chest just looking into my eyes . He went to the vets check up and because he had so many fleas on him he was wormed and flea treatment then a bath two days later . He ate his bowel was back to normal and he's now 12 weeks old had vaccinations and blood tests for all the bad stuff .negative. his name is Bono and he bosses all our babies around . I lost my Mouse on Friday after a long battle with kidney failure she passed away in my arms peacefully she was 14 I was there when she was born and I held her to the end kisses and more hugs . I have some cats with special needs and my eldest is Mouse's mum her name Momma she's 16 . I have 10 kittens in my cattery and there mum's and a ginger old fellow who came to us because he couldn't walk . He now jumps and eats us out of the house . I thought we had a bunch with 16 inside and four ferals outside. Our oldest three are around 10 years old. We did have a cava-chi, but he passed in October. He hated most people and other dogs, but loved the cats, and they loved him.
I have two cats that are blind. One had to have her eyes removed at six weeks old and her sister is about 50% blind. They have been my everyday inspiration for almost 12 years now. They have never let anything hold them back. They are wonderful. Please give a handicap animal a chance! They need love too! You will get twice the love back that you give them!

Thank God for humans like you. I went through it too. She lost her eyes and I spent thousands but not to be. she was also deaf. I brought her home from a shelter when she was already in her senior years. I don’t regret a minute of it. She and I had what I suppose was the best hear of her life. I am so grateful for that chance. She made me a new and improved human. If what you have done isn’t among the highest form of humanity I don’t know what is. Yes the kitty moves me but you move me more. Thank you.
