Last year, most people did not believe that he would be able to play the role well because he was judged by his appearance and not his ability. Look at how many people got face-slapped after the show aired. Why try to argue with unworthy people when you can best prove yourself by your actions? Funny how I discover this video when the keyword I was searching for was "Wang Yibo UNIQ bleeding" because I saw in one of the fanmade video that there was a news about Yibo covered in what looked like a blood as well as the other UNIQ members (I guess it was a fanmeeting or a mini concert). But I cannot find that footage instead I found this one. I read about this incident before but never actually see the live video. Now that I've seen it I felt bad for Yibo, he should had a great birthday that day instead he had the worst birthday in his life. Thank God Xiao Zhan came back to the set and made him feel better. I saw many comments here that blamed the bullies I feel the same way. But I also want to point out the Staff for not let him finish the live stream as he wished or at least mute the comments. When he said he was ready for shooting then gave a look to the staff, they should have understand that was his cue to stop the live stream. You can tell from his face that he wasn't comfortable enough to continue. Why would they let him continue when they knew what those ppl said about him? Were they deliberately want to hurt him on his special day? If I were the staff I would end the live stream earlier instead of give him the phone. They didn't consider his feelings at all and that was completely shameful. So overall, I blame not only the bullies but also the Staff. It wasn't his fault if the staff of that broadcast platform did the live stream for him, he didn't seem to asked them to do that for him so why all those ppl blame him? He really suffered a lot last year. Probably some of the best memories mixed in with the bad ones. Ever since the casting was announced, one of the biggest controversial was around him being casted as Lan Wangji. Last year, most people did not believe that he would be able to play the role well because he was judged by his appearance and not his ability. Look at how many people got face-slapped after the show aired. Why try to argue with unworthy people when you can best prove yourself by your actions? These people should be more like Yibo, talk less and do more.

Funny how I discover this video when the keyword I was searching for was "Wang Yibo UNIQ bleeding" because I saw in one of the fanmade video that there was a news about Yibo covered in what looked like a blood as well as the other UNIQ members (I guess it was a fanmeeting or a mini concert). But I cannot find that footage instead I found this one. I read about this incident before but never actually see the live video. Now that I've seen it I felt bad for Yibo, he should had a great birthday that day instead he had the worst birthday in his life. Thank God Xiao Zhan came back to the set and made him feel better. I saw many comments here that blamed the bullies I feel the same way. But I also want to point out the Staff for not let him finish the live stream as he wished or at least mute the comments. When he said he was ready for shooting then gave a look to the staff, they should have understand that was his cue to stop the live stream. You can tell from his face that he wasn't comfortable enough to continue. Why would they let him continue when they knew what those ppl said about him? Were they deliberately want to hurt him on his special day? If I were the staff I would end the live stream earlier instead of give him the phone. They didn't consider his feelings at all and that was completely shameful. So overall, I blame not only the bullies but also the Staff. It wasn't his fault if the staff of that broadcast platform did the live stream for him, he didn't seem to asked them to do that for him so why all those ppl blame him?
