    Enjoyed the build, and we don’t know HOW you do it all, with day jobs AND the Tree Farm!! Unfinished projects are real life, and for you, with two full time jobs...it’s no wonder! Great solution!! Prefect!! Big LIKE! ATB, Lisa&Rick

    Nice build! Very clever reuse of your stair gates for the sides of your carry all! Thanks for sharing!

    Awesome idea. I was hoping you had a video on this. If i build one, i will probably make the wood part easily removable. I would probably build it like a skid that can just be slid under and lifted with the carryall arms. A quick solution would be a couple of pallets.

    Nice build but i have something to say to help you in the end. On your chain saw you need something to let it bounce something like a swimming noodle or anything to give some spring that could be it.. Anyway that body of your chain saw is magnesium, not aluminum. If it gets broken you will have a hard time finding a person that knows how to weld it up. I know use to weld many in my work .Am old but you check me out...Good luck and Blessings

    Looking good, ingenious use of the gates!

    I see that is a county line frame, but what was it for? Does the frame come ready to build or did you make frame out parts?

      Its called a carryall. Some people use it as 3-point forks, but most build some kind of platform or box on it like I did.

    Great! I wish I had power steering on my Case 430. What's the link between a carry-all and power steering? When you don't have, you always need to have a (heavy) ballast in the back. Having an empty carry all is just impossible to steer! Lol! Thanks for sharing and looking for you using it! Thanks Phil!

      I've got an issue with my blue tractor power steering not working well. Maybe a fully loaded carry all is part of the solution. haha!

    Great build Phil really like the use of the old gate. I'am sur that you will get good use out of it.

    Do you know what your weight was on this build?

    • @WoodsTreeFarm
      @WoodsTreeFarm  4 роки тому

      Sorry - don't have a clue on the weight. I'd guess somewhere 200-250lbs. Its a struggle for me to drag it around by myself, but I can do it.

    • @TheMustangStampede
      @TheMustangStampede 4 роки тому

      @@WoodsTreeFarm well I built mine it has at least 450 lbs of concrete as ballast. My carry all portion is removable. So, that will be next project finishing off the carry all part.

    nice build, you will get a lot of use with it.
    I suggest muting the sound when speeding up clips and drop in some music instead.
    we lost power for 28 hours and it was not fun.

    You should have put the chainsaw on the front so you could close the gates and carried long pieces of what ever (like brush) and it could hang over the sides

  • @waynederby4684

    No offense, but you should take a look at the one that DIY MY WAY made. Might help some.

      Yeah ive seen it. Martin's build is good. This vid was from almost 2.5 years ago. The carryall is still going strong. Thanks for the comment, though.

  • @warped2875

    Now that you screwed on your chainsaw "blade" (it's a bar and chain btw) scabbard, let's see you fold the left side hinges flat to the back. Oops!

    • @WoodsTreeFarm
      @WoodsTreeFarm  4 роки тому +1

      Having sides that fold was never the intention. I just happened to repurpose those gates and reused the hinges to attach them to the carryall. The scabbard blocks hold the blade really well 🌲😄
