A New Character was hidden in plain sight in Crash Team Rumble, Cerebella Cortex. [Crash Bandicoot]

This is a new one for the Crash Bandicoot series, never have we been introduced to a character in such a roundabout way....it begs to question is she even canon?

I’ve heard plenty of people saying that these characters Such as ID Cortex, Hugh Cortex, Mama Cortex and Cerabella Cortex who were supposedly going to be part of Neo and Nina Cortex’s Family don’t feel like they’d belong in a Crash Bandicoot game from the Crash Bandicoot Subreddit.
But Let’s keep ourselves clear. Crash Bandicoot has always been a weird cartoony Franchise were almost anything can happen, the Lore Has never been Consistent ever Since 1999. With such examples including weird Green Aliens taking over Earth. A cyborg German Soldier named Von Clutch who’s part of a Theme Park. A Pink robotic Egg Villian named N. Trance, the Titans Games, Evil counterparts, Ant Aliens, Alternate Dimensions, etc.

As much as it pains me, I wouldn't say being in a banner makes Cerebella cannon, even if the game in which the banner is on is cannon itself.

I’m glad these characters were scrapped.
The doctors form cortex chaos were much better and fit the crash universe better.

I’m kinda Sad though… Since we’ll never see Cortex’s Family now that it’s scrapped.
Unless we get a Spinoff Neo Cortex Game of Some sort. But that’s just wishful thinking.
