About do the same thing on my 4420. So glad I found this video. Thanks Bob on the Farm
Hey, you're welcome! It turned out to be not too difficult to fix. Thanks for watching!
Good video another " Bob mechanically inclined on the farm" engineering task complete.
I did this last summer on my 7700 I was bringing back to life. This job was somewhat difficult because everything sat for over 15 years and was stiff. Made adjusting the cylinder speed difficult when harvesting the soybeans a few weeks ago. But I am learning as I go and hope to have this more functional next year.
I am also learning as I go. Find someone who with knowledge about these machines who wouldn't mind coaching you through some of the learning. I'm lucky to have a couple of friends like that and they have been very helpful. Good luck and thanks for watching!
Thank you Bob for the video
You are welcome. I hope it was helpful to you. Thanks for watching!
This video just saved my holiday farm live john deere said if they were to come out to my house and do this it would be 3,720 just for 4 minutes job
Thank you very much for the video it was very useful, I have a JD4400 I want to get that book can you give me the details of it.
Thanks for watching! I'm glad that my video was helpful to you. There is at least one guy on ebay that is selling reprint manuals. I bought one of those for my corn planter. Just search for what you want on ebay and it should come up. I think the one for my corn planter cost about 25-30 bucks.
I have a question 🤔
Bob was that a cow I Heard in the background?? I didn't know you had cows
Yes sir! We raise a couple of beefers for our own freezer and sell to friends too. Thanks for watching!
primary countershaft you wouldn't happ to have one if you looked right up over this were you were working at you would see it
If my machine is supposed to have one then it's in there somewhere. I don't have an extra one if that is what you're asking.
Bob, Are you going to the big auction on December 15th? Send me a text, Paul
I am going, however my wife has informed me that if I buy anything big that I may have to sleep on your couch for awhile! LOL! (just kidding)
@@BobontheFarmOhio LOL, hopefully you’ll bring me luck again! I’ll see you there.
It was very helpful... I am looking at John Deere 6600 to buy but I am learning everything that I can about it first ... Because I will be doing all the maintenance and repairs... Great video
I'm glad you found it helpful. I suggest you get a owners manual for your 6600 and read the whole thing. It is very informative. Thanks for watching!
