Also, when you use mod cars and not official cars made by developers, the cars don't deform as well because they're made by a mod maker

FYI, the reason the crashes look choppy in some scenes is because BeamNG doesn't record physics replays at as high of a resolution as simulated.

In order for cars not to fail in the replay in slow mo, you need to record replays in slow mo too.

I hope they add in the next updates dust and smoke effect when crashing, it will add so much to the realism.
Anw great video ! I would love to see more ! Just a small tip tho: when you record the crash in-game try recording it in slowmotion then use the editor as you like to speed it up or slow it down. Because when you record it in normal speed and then you slow it down in the editor it will creat this weird missing frames/ glitches. Hope i was clear. :)

If you use the in-game recorder to record the crashes and then slow down that playback, you get this low-fps, stuttering simulation. Instead you have to slow down the simulation itself, and record that with your screen recorder.

Yeah, looks almost the same but in the video simple collision physics are being used and it is visible on how things smash like a PowerPoint presentation. It would look even better with normal physics.

How about testing some physics myths like two vehicles going 50 mph doing a head on is equivalent to crashing into a wall at 100 mph. Basically do a test that sends 2 cars of the same type and make them crash into a wall 1 at 50 mph and one at 100 mph (try to time both cars to crash at the same time). Then have both cars crash into each other head on at 50 mph and compare the damage.
