2:05 Red Velvet once said, they rarely get hot when practicing coz SM practice rooms are really cold, so they usually put on long sleeves/jackets/hoodies

Fun fact: You know why you see Kpop idols in their dance practices wearing a lot of layers, and often what we would think of as street clothes, instead of workout wear? One reason is because it helps build up endurance and to condition their bodies to be able to dance on stage with their stage outfits and not be affected. Why it looks so effortless on stage and like they hardly even exert themselves or sweat sometimes, is because their body has become used to being dressed in layers while working hard while wearing heavy boots, etc. It's kind of like if you spend a lot of time in a sauna, after a while your body gets used to the heat and you can endure more heat for longer periods of time. 😁
Plus, as you may know, dance studios are often located in the basement of companies and they usually aren't heated well, so depending on the time of year, it could be really cold in there.

SHINee also said they went jogging before training started and sang songs while they jogged to condition their lungs for endurance and later long concerts, thats why SM artists exaggerate at the ending stage of music shows (while doing the 'ending fairy' position and acting like they're out of breath lol) because they can basically go 10 rounds and still not be much tired

The fellow on the left in the performance you pointed out as bringing a bit less energy is Sungchan, and he'd only just debuted with NCT with this song. So I can understand there being differences between someone who has performing as such a new thing (even though he did train for a long time) and those who've been performing for years. He's still really good though, and we all look forward to his development!

Sungchan is the new member. He performed better in the rapper position (Class&misfit). Mark (slipping) also the main rapper in NCT. The dance center (with sunglass) is Ten. Ten is the main dancer and vocal.

The members at this point had so many performances and comebacks as a whole group and in their own units, and they were so tired so we really appreciated them still being able to perform like this for fans

Mark is probably out of alignment because they want a clean personal closeup shot, otherwise, based on Mark's experience, he would have obviously noticed, and travelled towards the middle with the remaining steps he had upon realisation. I just think it was very much deliberate for the recording given Mark's hyper awareness
