Both David Walliams and Matt Lucas are just hilarious, you really can’t go wrong by watching Little Britain 🇬🇧 love it Great Reaction from Denise in Yorkshire England 🏴😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣👏👏👏👍👌
when taking the mugshot and they said turn to the left turn to the right and he said oh fashion... those are lines from what David Bowie song called fashion
Been watching your videos for a while now but never commented. Love all the reactions, there's a lot of gold in UK TV and not a lot of the rest of the world gets to see it, so these reactions are great to see. Keep going bro
You need to watch Little Britain “Bubbles Devere” it will definitely shock you. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 Yes Prime Minister is awesome. Great reaction video, looking forward to some more. 👍🏻😂🤣😂 Have a great weekend. 👍🏻👍🏻😂😂😂😂
Those two english political scandals mentioned at the start are true including one politician trying to get a male prostitute murdered. It was recently made into a series with Hugh Grant and Ben Wishaw. All very bizarre but grotesquely funny.
Well, clearly the second one wouldn't be made today, I don't see how the 'funny' in it would be 'allowed'. The 'funny' is clearly about a man pretending to be a woman...I mean...no elaboration needed!
@@fintonmainz7845 I don't think so, not this time. From what Connor said I deduce it's more about avoiding an epidemic of fainting. projectile vomiting, and heart attacks among the morally-encumbered denizens of middle America.
These are so funny. We have had so many real politicians here in the UK who have made these ridiculous public apologies with their poor wives next to them pretending to look supportive.
there s none on youtube anymore, they all got deleted n cancelled by the "woke" cancel culture mob...A few years ago, you could watch ALL full episodes of Little Britain on youtbe...then they got deleted one by one due to leftist cancel culture snowflakes who hate comedy.
You are a gentleman, yeah McJibbin I like how you present your commentary. You have a great 'Laid Back' kind of presentation that comes across as genuine. Of course I've Subbed w/notes. Stay Cool and Stay Safe dude. Peace Out
We had a politician a few decades ago arrested in a park at night with his pants down. he claimed it was all a misunderstanding. he was there looking for Badgers
That guy is David Walliams. He’s the very funny judge on Britain’s Got Talent and is also the #2 children’s book writer in Britain, after JK Rowling. He raised over a million dollars for The Prince’s Trust by swimming the English Channel, then did it again by swimming the entire length of the River Thames, which took him three sickly days. He’s kind of a national treasure over there! I really enjoy him on BGT.
If you like history try looking at Vic Reeves rouges gallery, Vic is an English comedian who tells the true facts about famous rouges (Blackbeard, Dick Turpin etc.) that are not the same as folklore and movies make out, they funny with true info. Worth a look.
I lived thru the 80s when Moral Majority, family values Republicans and Mega Church Pastors were caught in airport bathroom stalls with "another man", or soliciting male prostitutes after taking stimulant drugs. Be Republican, sure. Be gay, sure. But don't lecture me about your high moral values. I like the way that fun is made of these guys in these skits
The British Approach to men dragging up goes back a very long way and was usually for the purpose of creating the Pantomime Dame,,, The Dame in a pantomime was always hilarious and loved by children because of the comedic nature of the character. Usually grotesque and always funny,,,,,,, a huge part of the Pantomime season.
It was actually illegal for women to be on stage until 1660 (50 years after Shakespeare died) thanks to the church. Consequently any female roles had to be played by men. Conversely in Victorian music hall it was regarded as 'immoral' for women to perform on stage. Most of those that did so came from poor working class backgrounds so had little to lose. Those from more middle-class backgrounds who wanted to act sometimes masqueraded as men to protect their reputations. Hence the tradition of cross dressing in British Theatre.
Great channel. If you have the stomach for it I dare you to try any Christopher morris comedy. Maybe "The day Today"? Or if you really want a challenge try "Jam"!
The original British politician explains are much better. They had to be filmed with long shots with the children in and close ups for the rude bits. Very funny and on UA-cam.

As good as these reactions to Little Brtian US version are, I just can't help but think they are nowhere as near funny and iconic as the UK version. They obviously tamed it down a bit for the US audience. And the characters in the UK version were so much more. Disappointning you haven't reacted to any of the british ones, although I know they may be difficult to source now. (apologies if you have)
They did what they could to translate it for the Yanks, but much of this just isn't the same when it crosses the pond, I frankly don't like them at all. Most of the sketches lose their original meaning, as America doesn't have the same point of reference, and LB is highly anglocentric, well derr, in the title, so where those characters come from just isn't there. Avoid the US version altogether.
Connor You like awkward, witty, banter and sketch show British comedy you should check out some of these...Harry Enfield and chums, Red dwarf, Friday night dinner, I.Q (Steven Fry is the host, it's full of fact's you'll love) ...and off topic but I'm sure you'll enjoy and I'm pretty sure it's been mentioned in comment's before...Time team with Tony Robbinson aka Baldrick from Black adder. The politician appologies are among the best Little Britain sketches. They have some more of these for the UK version.
Yes, watch the UK version of that!
@@sirjohnmara true, theUK politician was even funnier....
The best thing is always the wife standing there
i watch Matt Lucas when Walliams is reading out the script, his facial expressions are just as funny as the script.
I'd addicted to watching Americans reacting to these lately
"OOh Fashion ". A reference to the David Bowie track of the same name .03:34

I sincerely hope that Matt Lucas and David Walliams find your channel Connor. They'd love how much you love them and appreciate their humour.

Lucas actually apologised for the "only gay in the village" sketch even though he's actually gay ! Madness

I remember the scandal in the 70s.
Matt Lucas was brilliant in the Shooting Stars spoof game show which also featured our National Treasure Bob Mortimer and Vic Reeves. A must watch.
the
"should I..."
at the end was brilliant. Yeah, Little Britain is very addictive.
Your reaction face was priceless through that first sketch! Well done Sir, and happy to be a subscriber.
Little Britain was such a great show. I winder what angle the skits would be in 2022 if they did the show again.

The 'funny' is clearly about a man pretending to be a woman...I mean...no elaboration needed!
They wouldn't be allowed to be made today, plus Lucas and Walliams apologised to the woke brigade for all these sketches.

It's for copyright reasons.

How about some of the Fat Fighters scenes from this show?
You posted this yesterday and you haven't posted today. It's half seven. It's getting on, I want to wish you happy St.Georges, before the day is done.
The apologising politician - always a Tory in the UK version! - has becomes a popular meme. Classics.

Nothing like the child trafficking, rapists and terrorist loving Putin supporters of today's GOP then? :')
I'm sure there was a perfectly innocient explanation.
The press officer from Veep in the background
Absolutely HILARIOUS!!
Americans don't get that we can show this as comedy every night
you mean "that we COULD...."
The best British comedy series ever! Cancelled by the leftist SJW fake-woke mob!! :(
To be fair, they cancelled themselves as well, they deserve just as much scorn as the wokerati you allude to.
Well not really as it ended in 2007….the woke folks didn’t exist then.

Yes Connor Yes hahahahahahahaha his face at the end.... sham marriage
lol funny thing is that this is very much based on actual things an american senator did( while also being extremely homophobic)
Try Nan Anger management full clip
The US version was toned down for US audiences. The British version was much better.
Have a watch of League of Gentlemen.
Will we ever get back to a time when comedy isn’t woke or sanitised 🤔
New England is that in the states?
Why do you blur things out? It's not like we haven't seen these things before.

Was that a sketch?
I mean todays republicans, they are beyond parady.
The real thing is so intertaining and fuuuunny.
So absurd. So stupid.
American accents are easy for the UK we just act and speak dumb.
You sound nice
That's probably what Joe sniffy Biden would say !
Did you get the Bowie lyric gag? "Fashion, turn to left. Fashion, turn to the right. Oooooooo Fashion."
Doesn't make me feel at all uncomfortable. I appreciate the diverse and alternative comedy.
If you want weird, try The League of Gentlemen.
I love your sense of humour. The world needs much more laughter in these troubled times. Never cease to laugh when you feel like it.
