For London-based artist Nilüfer Yanya, there are no compromises when it comes to music: Her first songs went viral in 2016, spreading melancholic and soulful vibes from head to toe. They gave listeners the impression, one might already know the young singer from now on. Shortly after, her sound became rougher and more upbeat throughout following releases.
Lesson learned: Putting Nilüfer Yanya into a box is not going to happen. Her ambitions as a free spirit paid off and earned the artist critical acclaim for her debut album "Miss Universe" which came out earlier this year.
