    Nice! I use Fenix lights at the moment, but still have a liking for Petzl. I remember a difficult descent with my old Petzl Tikka! This review light looks very innovative, thanks for an interesting review - Steve

      Thanks Hans, the a6500 with the Sigma 16 mm Lens is really great for night videography! And a good question! I'll post a photo on Twitter (@hendrikmorkel) to see how it works =)

    Packability seems to be a problem here. Did you manage to put it in a running vest without much problems?
    Also, is the battery easier or harder to change in the field (lets say in a race) - compared to the Swift?

    • @HendrikMorkel
      @HendrikMorkel  3 роки тому

      Good questions! I had not a problem to get it into a running vest/ pack, as mine have "large" back pockets where it goes in without a problem. Battery is really easy to change - Core battery out, new Core battery or 3 AAA batteries in, close and go.

      @@HendrikMorkel thanks for your opinion. So all in all - would you, for a full-night-trailrun (lets say at least 8h in the dark), prefer the IKO (with spare battery)? I see it like this: IKO = Lighter and better weight distribution. Swift = Slightly heavier, slightly easier to pack, "reactive" modes, standard strap (so could be used with a helmet when mountaineering). Anything else?

    Looks great except that it's a bit bulky and awkward to pack down. I am a bit hessitant to the longevity because of this. I would also miss the ledlensers ability to quickly and easily zoom in to narrow beam for long range spotting or signalling.

    • @HendrikMorkel
      @HendrikMorkel  3 роки тому +1

      Never used a Ledlenser headlamp so don’t miss anything. The packing down isn’t bad, gotta see about longevity thus. I have the Lupine Penta in use since four weeks now, expect a Video about it soon :)

      @@HendrikMorkel I take it that LedLenser is not as big in the US as it is in Europe. I'd say that LedLenser makes possibly the best lights or at least they are in the top three. Check them out if you get the chance.

    Cap compatibility?

    • @HendrikMorkel
      @HendrikMorkel  3 роки тому

      If you wear your cap backwards it works best.

      @@HendrikMorkel That would sort of defeat the purpose of the cap...

    Sieht ziemlich ungewöhnlich aus! Auch wenn die technischen Daten durchaus interessant klingen, favorisiere ich persönlich noch immer die Petzl Swift, NAO oder Bindi.

    • @HendrikMorkel
      @HendrikMorkel  3 роки тому

      Die NAO ist schon sehr schwer und gross, auch wenn die NAO+ nochmal etwas mehr Licht hat wie die IKO Core. Zum wandern were ich wohl weiterhin zur Bindi greifen, aber zum Trailrunning favorisiere ich jetzt schon die IKO 😊
