    Jwan Mohammed Hi Jwan, mandala means "Circle" in Sanskrit. Therefore mandala is the circle and everything in the circle.

      If i do the draw without the nanquim . Is that gonna work ?

    • @dearingwang
      @dearingwang  10 років тому +1

      Nanquim is black ink right? You can try. Just avoid erasing the guiding lines which you need to trace. That's all. Good luck!

    Where do you get your designs and patterns from? Self taught or go to school for this?

    • @dearingwang
      @dearingwang  10 років тому +5

      Hi Sunrise, very much self taught in the basics of the overall geometry. I've studied Architecture and Urbanism so there is a link there. And basically gathering information from different books etc. And just being passionate and relentlessly studying patterns whereever I could see them. And doing the hard work of practicing the fundamentals. Learning how to divide a circle in equal parts. Subdividing a square etc. Thank you for asking.

      @dearingwang  10 років тому

      Hi Fabri, about 6 cm radius. But of course you can use a bigger or smaller radius depending on the size that you want the pattern to be. Good luck!

    • @MohawkPunk
      @MohawkPunk 10 років тому

      Thanks Dearing, i used 6cm anyways... its fits PERFECT on my notebook... This will be just a sketch, after this one.. i will try the same but this time with a radius of 10cm maybe...

      Pure Sound beyond that, it’s a hexagram. It is and has been used in many different cultures and religions, symbolizing many different things. It was used in Paganism far before either Islam or Judaism, and I’m sure there are instances of it being used much farther back than even that.
