I heard uconn fans saying they lost because they had hurt players not playing. It's kind of funny when they beat Gonzaga they never bragged about beating them with hurt players not playing.They only bring it up when the lose.Uconn is college basketball biggest excuse mongers.

I mean.. that was only vs Kansas.. and we lost once. And the Gonzaga point makes 0 sense, we were healthy vs Gonzaga in terms of people playing but not 100%. You’re just ignoring facts and saying it’s “excuses” when we had three people hurt vs Kansas, one of them was out completely and we only lost by 4 AT Allen field house

winning. Not saying they will win this year, it’s still too early to take that guess, they have the team to do it. It’s no coincidence they beat 10 teams by double digits in non-conference. No one is saying losing to seton hall is great, it isn’t. But I’m upset we lost but glad we did too, because it will just steer us to get better. Rather have the slump now than later.

@@imhereforitall9218 Exactly, like Purdue lost to northwestern (just like last season) and are still a good team. I was just reading the thread and the things on there are insane. “Cam Spencer needs to go, if he can’t shoot he’s a liability” like he hasn’t been an amazing playmaker. Regardless, just like last season and many other teams who won a championship had a slump in the winter. I’m glad we lost this because it shows where we need to improve and fix upon, just upset with how we lost. No one besides clingan played good, Stephon on offense isn’t doing great, granted he was injured earlier, clingan going out hurt is a lot. Samson is great, but all he can do is set picks and dunk the ball. Never seen him attempt a jump shot once
