JiU sacrificed herself to to save her friends in the MV
You pretty much nailed it. The girls were trapped in a virtual environment created by the crystal. JiU realised when she looked at the sun that it wasn't real, which seems to have allowed her to snap out of it. She goes back in with the gun; kill the girls in their dreamscape, she figures, and they'll wake up. So she shoots each of them, but she only had five shots, so when she goes to free herself too, she's out of rounds, leaving her trapped in the crystal...
It is not an official comeback. The official comeback will be out on August 17th.

even though rose blue is not an official comeback, the song is great. i loved everything about the mv and the story it told. jiu saving the members from the dream world made me tear up little when i first saw the mv😢 johan i cant wait until boca is out and i will be watching your reaction! 😊💙

I think it's like that in a way, a dreamworld where you wake up from if you die. So JiU did safe the others by shooting them, but ran out of shots and got trapped. So sad, right?

What i understood from that video, is that.... Jiu saved them, and sacrifice herself, thats why you see them like trapped all in diferent scenarios, and jiu goes there and save them, so in the end they wake up, and she ends trapped in that ...crystal thing... right? and i have no idea whats the game about... anyway have a great day, oh and if you want go to my channel, i do drum covers that nobody sees hahaha and i also have an instagram that nobody visits hahaha, see ya!

Even though Jiu went into the crystal to save the members from their dreamstate by shooting them. The image of Jiu pointing the gun at sweet Gahyeon is haunting to watch. I heard the song a while before the mv came out and I can say that the song is way better in context with the mv. ;)
