  • A variety of Southeastern Trains at Strood
    1. A 6 car Southeastern High Speed Class 395 (395008) which I had just got off after travelling on it from Stratford International, departs on a loop service to Ramsgate via Faversham and then from there back via Dover Priory and Ashford International and back onto HS1 all way to St Pancra's International. Also at the same time another Class 395 (395007) arrives from the chatham lines bound for St Pancra's International from Faversham.
    2. A 8 car Class 465 (465930 & 465905) arrives on Platform 2 on a service from Gillingham bound for London Charing Cross via Dartford whilst a 10 Class 375 waits at red signal on the viaduct before being cleared to proceed to it's next Station Rochester on a service from London Victoria via Bromley South.
    3. A 3 car Class 375 (375306) arriving on Platform 3 terminating at Strood from Maidstone West for later on returning on a service bound for Paddock Wood.
    4. A 10 car service fronted by Class 466 unit 466015 with two Class 465s (465035 & 465238) arriving and departing on a service from London Charing Cross to Gillingham.
    5. A 6 car class 395 (395017) arriving and departing on a peak time service from London St Pancra's to Maidstone West however was kept in the platform much longer than expected because it looked there was a problem switching the points for the medway line which instead was fixed onto the direction of the chatham lines. Whilst waiting a 4 car Class 465 on semi fast service from Faversham to London Victoria passes over the viaduct.
Eventually the points did switch and the train departed. After that a 7 car Class 375 both in new and old Southeastern livery passes over on a viaduct from London Victoria via Bromley South to Ramsgate.
    5. The Class 375 (375306) seen earlier departs platform 3 bound for Paddock Wood whilst out of shot a 6 car Class 395 bound for Faversham arrives on Platform 1.
    6. To finish it all a Class 395 (395007) departing to St Pancra's International on a peak time service from Maidstone West.
At the time of filming the station building was into a 4th month of a 7 month rebuild.
The weather was clear however was a bit windy especially the evening.
Filmed on Friday August 4th 2017 on iPhone 6S and edited on iMovie.
