Hi guys! This is such a wholesome video. Thanks for keeping it real and relatable. I love that Abidemi started affirming herself from a really young age. No surprises there!!! I’m curious to know your creative process and how you come up with your topics. Well done guys. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Wow Sissy Bidemi, you were doing that as a child. No wonder, you are and have always been a confident, self aware woman, even as a child.

This is a very encouraging video, thank you Ibukun and Bidemi for sharing. Thank you for sharing your experience with your baby Abidemi. Many things have shaped me in the course of my study but i will share one from my childhood. When I was in nursery 2, my teacher (a very kind, tall, light skinned woman called Mrs Kalu) was teaching us numbers, from 1- 100. On this particular day, I was finding it difficult to do the classwork we had been given which required me to write from numbers 90 to 100 and instead of applying myself, I just kept crying. When the bell rung for break time, I was yet to do my own class work and so the teacher said that I was not allowed to go out for break until I do my class work. At first I cried and cried because I really wanted to go outside to play but when it started to look unlikely to happen, I stopped crying and decided to take a closer look at the black chalkboard in front of me. On it, Mrs Kalu had written the numbers 1 to 90, so I took a closer look at the board and noticed that the numbers in between 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 were practically the same. It was then that I saw that all I needed to do was to place number's 1-9 after each number from 91 - 99. It was then that I came to the conclusion that mathematics was not hard, I just needed to listen more closely and ask questions if I needed to. This is what has informed the way I solve problems since I was a child - listen then ask questions. Sadly i have not been able to find Mrs Kalu since I left her class 40 years ago.
