It would require an adapter to use a different manifold that would be beneficial. Then you could use the 2012 Civic Si manifold. HP gains would be OK. If you are trying to squeeze that last little bit of HP from a setup you already have without upgrading the turbocharger, then it could be worth it. Supposedly a bigger throttle body doesn’t even gain power at all, unless head work is performed. People swap manifolds, and throttle bodies just for looks. The biggest cheapest gain is power is an intake short ram or cold air intake, vs stock plastic intake box. Besides that any time you want to see power, you have to have a healthy bottom end, drop in cams, FBO and tune
I put a 65 mm TB on a Buick based Aussie version v6 vp commodore, then a cold air induction, iat resistor mod , shift kit in rhe turbo 700. The TB from 60 mm? Instant response and more push in the seat! Ecotec v6 is starved in standard trim.

Do you guys have any guides on repining Honda fuel injectors to work with RDX injectors. I own a 2012 Accord LX and I'm having a hard time trying to get these Denso 410cc injectors installed. All pigtails I find are not the correct fitment for my car to the RDX ones. So confusing

Rsx base auto harnesses are pretty cheap so my question is it just remove the auto wires and connectors or it there more to it? X2, I’m actually doing this as we speak. #1 repin /extend the TPS connector #2 use the connector from the intake manifold runners and move down to use for reverse lock out and repin that at the ECU connector. I’m sure there’s more, just haven’t got that far yet.
I have a question. Its my first K series build and I am trying to put an accord k24a4 TPS on a skunk2 alpha 70mm throttle body. I can not get the TPS to line up with the throttle body shaft due to it being clocked a bit different. I'm assuming I need a type s TPS? Thanks for your time!
A 4-1 header makes a little more power in the lower ranges of the rev range, and a 421 makes more power up top... so it's a bit of personal preference and the purpose of the build...
I wouldn't recommend it... it wont run smooth, you'll have a rough idle , and maybe some stuttering .. Your letting in more air, but not more fuel, and that will be your problem, your AFR will be messed up... i recommend waiting till you can tune it.. You still have a stock intake manifold? Greetz

I'm using an 05 accord throttle body on my k24a rbb. I realized later that i bought one with a part number from an automatic car. What's the difference and do i need to buy one from an manual? Also the accord one is pretty small but rax is only 2mm more. Should i just get a different TB altogether?
For 200 hp the Accord TB is big enough. The. auto or manual throttle body fits fine on the RBB. If you have an RBC or RRC then you need the Accord DX (auto or manual) throttle body.

No, ZDX TB will need an adapter, also you'll need flashpro to tune it since that IM +TB will let a lot more air in, probably you'll need RDX injectors too since stock ones will be running maxed out (K24a2 with I/H/E can max stock injectors pretty easily)

I got mine off amazon but remember if tps sensor is facing up have to flip around the the out wires around 123 normal to 321 also may have to make custom throttle cable stay bracket. The high idle may be a problem with either a vacuum leak or malfunctioning EACV. I should probably do a video on troubleshooting a high idle.

I'm running a tsx IM and TB on my Accord 2.4 , something tells me the stock TB will be more responsive 🤷 it's on the way so we'll see.
Brian I'm using a 05 RSX base model wiring harness & ECU for my JDM k24a and a base RSX throttle body. Am I going to have to do this same procedure.

I believe you need an RSX Type S compatible TPS for the Skunk 2 throttle body. And, you need to re-pin the TPS sensor.
Do you always have to do a throttle body learn procedure everytime you take it off?
Every time you reset the ECU. Unless you have a new throttle body.

I took my thottle body off to clean it and it was acting up until I resetted the ecu and calibrated the TBI.
Now it runs perfect again.

Why are you going with a 4-1 header as opposed to a 4-2-1 or hybrid style header?

Yes, but you would have to trim part of the manifold so the upper radiator hose inlet from the A3 could be installed.
