So I tried this on box braids (without the twirling part and I used cloth bands instead), and as someone who had a very sensitive scalp and is very prone to getting migraines, this is the first ponytail/bun method that I've tried that hasn't resulted in instant migraines. How did you do at taking out the rubber bands to untie it? Any suggestions? I find this hairstyle really beautiful but I'm afraid to damage and pull out my hair :(
@@miristtotallw If she recommended rubber bands, I didn't use them. I used regular hair ties and pulled them out at the end of the day. I won't ever use rubber bands on my hair - too much ouchy

@@miristtotallw That's very cool! I'm sorry, I did not realize English wasn't your first language. With that in consideration, I didn't have much of a problem removing the hair ties. There is no rubber on the outside of my hair ties (unlike many types), so I rarely have a problem with it pulling my hair. I'm not sure where you live nor what brands you have access to, but my go-to is usually the Goody's brand.
I set my phone on the bathroom counter and just paused it as I did the steps. Taking it back out was a nightmare though, so I won't be doing it again haha
Tried it, was beautiful and two minutes later and I'm dying in pain trying to take them out. Curly haired people have it rough, elastic bands are so painful.
