Whats the difference between spinning the first set of lines and not the second? First set laid straight second set laid w rotation. U can draw the first set on w rotation too and the second set w rotation or neither and rotate both after their laid straight, just wondering the differemces in results? I know mostly itll be in the implosion id guuees but ya why?
@@PipeDreams didnt think you'd be the one replying. Wish your channel got more traction on this platform. Your production value, so good. Just a shame. U make the artists look great. I know you're not gonna stop but, keep it up. Love your work.
@@pjbiggleswerth8903 thank you! Yeah I was hoping for more traction too. It’s a passion project of mine, entirely created by just me but I’m just not good a social media to promote it. New videos coming soon…
My guess is that since you can more easily lay down evenly spaced straight lines, then twist them for very clean spirals. Then the second set you can freehand more easily since you have the reference of a neater set already. Plus, you can’t twist both in that manner, without using two separate pieces.
Amazing! I've taken glass blowing classes and it is a million times harder than it looks. I can't even imagine the skill it takes to make that beautiful marble. I couldn't even make a plain round marble very well! He is very talented.
That was so clean, how you layed those 2nd lines down!!! I been working on the torch since 1995, but you just taught me something new! Thanks for sharing! Can't wait to try this out!
@@THEGLASSMANSWORLD nope, it was just one of those cool random finds on youtube. i'm glad i watched it though, the craftsmanship on display here is amazing!
Oh my gosh! It's stunning. 💜 I love all things glass. Art glass to stained glass. I wish I could have learned this beautiful art form. I did make stained glass sun catchers for a while.
I finally made my first attempt at this Reticello Marble last night and uploaded the video! I definitely need to try it again, but it didn't come out too bad!
That was very interesting to watch and you made it look so effortless, such a talent. If I may ask, where might I be able to purchase something like this?
Hey theoretically, after you did the flame cut and had the disc before you shaped it almost implosion style and added the clear in the center for the marble, couldn't you just trim and clean the disc, maybe color wrap it for an an encalmos to use as a window on your piece??? Any reply is greatly appreciated thank you in advance! Love the coating color in the white to make it more stable.
I just started making marbels about a month ago and i am having an issue with cracks and exploding marbels I am using soda lime glass and a marbel marver with a simple propane torch any advice?? Thanks for your time and the awesome video
Hope. Your putting them in a 800 degree oven for a few hours and you need to put them in hot with even heat also . You can look and marvel later when there done take care.
Great video.Did you buy the Carbarundum blocks with the dip in it already to make the marble or did you have to alter those stone blocks?I cannot wait to start making marbles.
Your looking at it! Haha But seriously, it’s a 4000 year old plus art form that is barely taught. That’s why I created this channel for tutorials and inspiration. I’m glad you enjoy!!
I have semi recently purchased most of the stuff I think I need to get started. But like you said it is barely taught and that makes it hard to find people close to learn from/with. One day hopefully I’ll be posting stuff like this. It is beautiful work and you make it look a lot easier and less frustrating than I do lol. 🙏🏼 keep on posting. Also I love the name. 🤙🏼
@@JoeyB-Style appreciate it! Taking a short break at the moment but I’ll be back shooting with my new RED camera. Classes are also expensive, that’s why I offer it for free here.
