A band with 4 million monthly listeners for example will get the bare minimum of what’s required, and take that account to other bands and you see why tickets are expensive. Back in the day tickets were like $10 even lower in some cases, and why was that? They earned money through the records they made, bands did not the ticket revenue compared to now. Furthermore, it’s ticket provider that’s also inflating the prices for their benefit which is why you need to go each site for a good price.
