It depends on the load on your system vs capacity. Is your protein skimmer working at full capacity? You might need another. You might need more filtration. The more fish you have the more you need filtration and water changes. Instant ocean isn't cheap.
Ordered 3 Nassarius snails for my 14g nano and was shocked when I received 3 snails labeled as XL Vibex with shells almost 2” long and as long as my index finger with their bodies extended. These things dwarfed my clownfish. I watched 2 of them gang up, climb my rock structure and kill a hermit crab. I didn’t even think that was possible. They were too freakishly large for my tank and 2 were issued eviction notices. The 3rd died a couple months later either from obesity or not enough whale meat to consume. Size matters.
Maybe you are thinking of Mandarins. They need copepods. Gobies will just dig holes and shift your rocks around, which can be a pain in the but if you have a fancy but unsteady setup.
My friend has owned one for years and he doesn’t feed copepods. It eats the same foods he feeds his other fish and that’s a variety. I’ve seen the goby come out and eat, even clams
Crab\Snail combo is the biggest scam in the aquatic industry. Crabs main diets are snails. You'll never stop replacing snails if you have both of them. Snail/Shrimp with no crabs is the best clean-up crew.
The sand sifting goby is so cute.
Got all 5, makes me feel good with what I'm doing on my tank
What was the red scallop in the beginning?
For real they are excellent just you need a lid
do you have recommendations for some with my dwarf lionfish?
I’ve had 1 in my 75 gallon for 6 months would it be safe to add another ?

Is a sand sifting goby good for a biocube 32?
Do a 20 gallon cleanup crew
Don’t forget sand sifting gobies need copepods, they don’t feed off detritus!!
Just inject flakes/ frozen food in substrate

@@vette73 nah they need copepods as a mixture to their diet believe it or not
@@metropk2115no they don’t. You’re clearly very misinformed. They will eat any variety of meaty frozen or pellet diet.

what is that the black one with hermit crab? can somebody tell me?
Make a video like this
for nano tanks they seem to be the most common now a days.
Why only salt water snails no fresh water one's 😇
But which ones do not reproduce like the plague?
All of them. Marine CUC aren’t known for rapidly breeding with few exceptions (I’m thinking about you, bristle worms).
@@hypanusamericanus9058 Thanks.
Id personally skip the hermit crabs if you want to keep snails. They will murder your snails to get their shells. At least that's my experience.
I'm no fish keeper but I have heard snails tend to be the rabbits of the ocean and reproduce like crazy.
Depends on the snail. Not the ones mentioned here.
Freshwater yes. Saltwater no.
nope..#1 should be copepods & amphipod combo.
The last one is really busy tho
