Any time I start getting bored with my music collection, I go back to my Sevendust and get excited bc they bring it front to back, every cd. They are just a melodic, heavy, incredible band with so many great fucking songs. Lajon's harmonies are original, amazing, and always resonate bc he's genuine. No one sounds like Sevendust. One of the greats. my top 5 easy
I agree with all of u Ive been listening to sevendust since I was like 17, im 25 now and their music really has meaning and their live shows are the best. This is what music should be about the passion and what you love. The music that these kids listen to now is just pure garbage and the music industry is all about money! These people now days arent artist their puppets that the music industry sends out to make them money. Sevendust will always be my favorite band. Much love and respect
I live in Pa Right next to Ohio and i know alot of people that like them around here and buys there stuff and went to see them live. I have listened to them for over ten years.
funny that this video has been here this long and it never came up in my searches.. you know how hard it was for me to find an official live peformance of sevendust on youtube!!
I have good memories from this song. My ex girl and i had nice moment on the beach in Italy when i asked her to marry me. Our relation is over now and this makes me happy and sad at the same time, very nice song though......
@halfbidfor5 I've seen this band live so many times. one of the best live bands i've ever seen. Lajon has such passion in his voice and it shows.. some people just dont get it.
Listen to 90% of today's rock bands live, and compare it to the album version. Just goes to show that real musicians like these guys don't need heavy post-production editing to sound great.
this version is fucking good i met all of SEVENDUST Except the bass player THE WHOLE BAND ARE SWEETHEARTS THEY LOVE THEIR FANS THEIR SO AWESOME LAJOHN Is fun to hangout with i hangouted for about a hour with hi hes awesome morgans chill and laid back
@sickspastic you're correct he did come back before the release of that album. Roughly 2 weeks before though. The album had already been done. If you look on the CD in the booklet, the guitar players on that album were John Connolly and Sonny Mayo. Clint had 0% to do with that album and he even talks about it in interviews, how he had nothing to do with that music. I promise you, Clint had nothing to do with that. This has been my fav band for 12 years so I'm a bit of a Sevendust nerd lol
I've watched a ton of these live acoustic vids. Does ANYONE know where you can buy the whole CD or DVD or this show? I'm hoping to see them this summer when they tour for the new album but until they announce dates I'm stuck with youtube......
@halfbidfor5 I think I know what he means. Lajon's voice is amazing, but I prefer when he smooths it out for some more melodious parts. His ability to contrast is what I like but this version uses more raspiness than the album version...which I think meyler prefers to the accoustic.
If Sevendust was person here's how its day would go: Sevendust wakes up on a bed of nails and eats mortar for breakfast. Then walks a komodo dragon to the park where it eats other people's pets whole. For lunch, Sevendust goes to a Civil war reenactment and beats the shit out of the actor cuz they looked at Sevendust funny. For dinner, Sevendust smashes TVs with a cricket bat, then eats the glass with a side of lighter fluid....all in a day's work for a Sevendust!!
Don't get me wrong, I love lJ s voice too but he has cheese R&B style and he balanced it out with the tough slight screech he delivers with his voice, lose that... less feeling. water down like most pop artist now.
The band is Sevendust. They are just one of my favorite bands. I started my channel just to put up these videos, put these up 11 years ago, never thought I'd ever be making videos of my own.
Ron Hagberg I was just saying to my lady last night that there was like a strange Gap in between this era and now just curious I started thinking that maybe you were a part of the band or something cool
@@3hotznacot856 I wish I was part of that band. I did work security at one of their shows and got to meet them, and I'm in one of their videos in the crowd for a split second.
Ron Hagberg they sound pretty good they kind of remind me of a deeper or darker Robert Randolph and the family band have you ever heard of them they're pretty good he plays that weird instrument it's almost like a piano slash guitar slash violin I don't know what it's called

Far and away my favorite Sevendust song of all time. And this is possibly my favorite performance of it.
Saw them in concert. Their lyrics are so much better then most these days.

this band is amazing live, i seen them acoustic too, which may be the best show i ever seen
I’m not into acoustic but man sevendust pulled it off to the point the crowd was jumping
I live in Pa Right next to Ohio and i know alot of people that like them around here and buys there stuff and went to see them live. I have listened to them for over ten years.
Hands down my favorite song by sevendust that they perform acoustic
lajon witherspoon, myles kennedy, howard jones and james labrie. the best voices of the 21st century.
The Best Voice & Band...awesome
funny that this video has been here this long and it never came up in my searches.. you know how hard it was for me to find an official live peformance of sevendust on youtube!!
i got this album years back, it's... incredible

God i love this song!! Timeless!
An awsome song by an awsome band. One of my favorites. They might have moved up the list RIGHT NOW!!! Art
I have good memories from this song. My ex girl and i had nice moment on the beach in Italy when i asked her to marry me. Our relation is over now and this makes me happy and sad at the same time, very nice song though......
This song on this tour was great.... loved them when I saw them in Minneapolis.
Thanks so much!! These guys are the hardest ROCKN Guys on tour!

Seen em live in Lancaster, they're the shit.
dude hes an amazing vocalist!
Damn right. Best clean vocalist in metal as far as I'm concerned. They picked him up in the 1990's when he was in a soul band.
@halfbidfor5 I've seen this band live so many times. one of the best live bands i've ever seen. Lajon has such passion in his voice and it shows.. some people just dont get it.
I'm buying this dvd now.
Love this song! It's so powerful!
Gorgeous song
I agree. Lajon never wrecks a song. EVER. He could be losing his voice and it would still be as full as ever.
Pretty song, awersome lyrics!!!
Amazing....
hope i can see them in brazil soon.........
So awesome!
Listen to 90% of today's rock bands live, and compare it to the album version. Just goes to show that real musicians like these guys don't need heavy post-production editing to sound great.

amazing!
@sickspastic I think Hope & Sorrow and Alpha were both AMAAAAZING albums. Way different, but still AMAZING
this version is fucking good i met all of SEVENDUST Except the bass player THE WHOLE BAND ARE SWEETHEARTS THEY LOVE THEIR FANS THEIR SO AWESOME LAJOHN Is fun to hangout with i hangouted for about a hour with hi hes awesome morgans chill and laid back

I saw them last night in Waterloo w Black Label Society! They kicked ASS!!!!
yeah morgan rose is pretty damn amazing.
Does anyone know where I can purchase or find a copy of this version of TRUST. These guys ROCK!
cause they left jason walden after animosity and home. that's what was missing, thank god they have him working now.
Best fuckin band ever
@AllezALenfer
They are only underrated in the north but I hardly call them underrated they did 800 shows in their first 3 years signed.
Too true! =]
gosh dammit acousticboy couldnt have said it any better
I've watched a ton of these live acoustic vids. Does ANYONE know where you can buy the whole CD or DVD or this show? I'm hoping to see them this summer when they tour for the new album but until they announce dates I'm stuck with youtube......
I agree with ya Vicious.

Southside Double-Wide (Acoustic Live)
because they do it for the Fans not the money and record execs only really care about making the latter
you can Dl using torrent or frostwire
this song is awesome but it's so much better down like this
If Sevendust was person here's how its day would go:

and John and Vinnie :-p
Lajon's vocal's too tough? Meyler you are fucking crazy. His style is awesome. This live performance is timeless. I hate stupid criticism.
@flyboy8492 Is he back??
Shit... Lajon knows how to sing...
@vinbasshred I highly suggest you do. great investment
serio?quando e onde?
Don't get me wrong, I love lJ
s voice too but he has cheese R&B style and he balanced it out with the tough slight screech he delivers with his voice, lose that... less feeling. water down like most pop artist now.
same setting, just like this...lajon ripprd my face off
@AllezALenfer maybe cause they want to? :/ who knows..
John looks like Chad from Nickelback here
yeah no wonder he has such a huge chest if he sang soul
anyone knows the tuning?
A#-F#-B-E-G#-C# ....... basically it's C# standard with the 6th string dropped to A#
@@craigime I'd probably fuck my Taylor trying to tune to that lol.
da shit
what's wrong with vinnie?
please forgive me who is this band, were you apart if it?
The band is Sevendust. They are just one of my favorite bands. I started my channel just to put up these videos, put these up 11 years ago, never thought I'd ever be making videos of my own.

Ron Hagberg they sound pretty good they kind of remind me of a deeper or darker Robert Randolph and the family band have you ever heard of them they're pretty good he plays that weird instrument it's almost like a piano slash guitar slash violin I don't know what it's called
well he had songs with out the "toughness" and most of them IMO lost the soul part. Soul is part tough, heart, and smooth out melodies.
@halfbidfor5 He's just butt hurt because he's not an amazing musician with 8 albums out.
cause their frontman is black....isnt that sad....
