Woman intentionally overdosed her children on Benadryl

The Union County Sheriff's Office arrested a woman after her two children were intentionally overdosed.
Sarah Jones, 28, was arrested on Wednesday after an investigation by the sheriff's office.
The investigation began after Jones' 8-year-old and 9-year-old children were taken to the hospital with symptoms of a narcotics overdose. Medical workers determined that the children were given large doses of prescription drugs, including Benadryl and Tramadol.
Investigators determined that Jones had intentionally overdosed the children and later learned it was not the first time she had done so. The abuse had been ongoing for several months.
