Vividly remember the fight scene, my sister saw the lunchtime episode as she was off school so recorded the evening repeat and replayed the fight over and over 😂
i loved sophies voice so much ! i got pregnant and called my daugher sophie as i liked the name , years later i found out rebekah who played her was born on the exact same date my daughter was born (years apart of course )
I remember watching this with my mum, and dad and grandma, me and granny fault sorry for poor Sophie mum and granny are in heaven now watching this brings back memories
Sadly the home and away now doesn't even feature summer bay high or foster kids at all anymore. It's changed a lot. If it weren't for Alf, Irene and Marilyn, I probably wouldn't watch it anymore.
They really went all out for a good fight in those days, even the girls got pretty violent with each other. The girl fights toned down a bit in the early 2000s, apart from a couple of times when Irene punched Angie Russell and Diana Fraser. The violence has actually increased a lot since then, but that's just the male characters fist fighting. The women hardly ever get into fights now, apart from the odd slap as they seem to be far too mature and dignified for that sort of thing 😂. Back in the day they wouldn’t have thought twice about a punch to the face and the best was probably when Bobby punched Roo.
Can you show the episode when Michael and pippa see Tracey true colours.I vaguely remember this storyline but cant remember what happens in the end .btw thanks for uploading:)
@@OldAussieAdsit’s because the stupid dumbo is trying to say that this program was/is filmed in New Zealand…when it clearly isn’t it’s filmed in Australia and I think it’s filmed just round the corner from Melbourne if I recall?!?!
Tom should have stayed in the show Roger oakley this is of course left in 1990 . then Dennis coard who played michael would'nt have a leading role in the show as a foster father like tom was.
this show never gets old or boring doesn't matter wat year we are in,,,,,,super classic
Golden years of Home & Away
Before Sally grew her big knockers
Tracy and Dodge, Pippas two bad apples she couldn't mend .

1:56 - It's funny that the producers put the Fletcher house Currawong sound bite here, even though it's night.

Felt so sorry for Sophie Tracy such a cow

Yes even the name of the show is meaningless now as it's no longer about a foster home.
This show completely died by the late 90's.

New Zealand. Home and away
I've seen this written before. Maybe by you. What does it mean?

What was Traceys real life name? She looks familiar!
Tania Martin.
@@godjenta66 thanks 👍

It's coming in a few weeks.
I don't want to write a spoiler but I remember what happens!
Karen would go on to cause a LOT of trouble too. With some guy called "Revhead" if I remember rightly.
Wow, Rebekah Elmaloglou is so young. Her brother, Sebastian, would join the show years later as Max Sutherland.
And in between thhat, their brother Dominic would appear as Sebastian Harrison for 7 eps in 96
@@Hulk2k6 I didn't know that. Thanks.
And 30 odd years later, she's still just as hot.
She now plays the character Therese in Neighbours. Filled out a fair bit.
Most of us do as we get older
I used to fancy Tracey when I was 12
I used to watch this show and shake hot white coconuts from the veiny love tree.
They should of killed Michaels character off sooner.
He was always taking sides and jumping to conclusions!
Tom was much better!

Pippa 1 was much better too.
Michael was a pain in the neck.
The guy who played Michael was Debra Lawrence's real life husband, still is I think.
@@tomhiggins6542 Yeah what happened to the original Pippa? I know Debra Lawrence showed up in Neighbours recently as Susan Kennedy's sister.
