+Bisayang Laagan oh man yeah! We really enjoyed it too which is why Brendon pointed it out at least with the GoPro. But we were thinking about the destination too much to pull out our cameras! We have been working on that though. Trying to capture the compositions on the journey and not just be strictly focused on getting to our destination. There is a huge lesson in that, Bisayang! Thanks for reminding me of it! I gotta do it more next time! 😃 -Aaron
+Bisayang Laagan oh awesome! 😃 We just barely went up to those fall colors again this year and I have a video coming for that too! Hope you enjoy it as well! We didn’t capture the sweet rock but we had a completely different experience it was awesome. 😄 Thanks for joining us and looking forward to hear from you again! -Aaron
Thanks, Camera Crusades! I definitely feel VERY fortunate that this spot is just a 5-minute drive from my house. I keep looking up the snowy mountain on my way to work and wish I had the time to get back up that hike and see it covered in snow. My wife had surgery so I have the two kids, but when she recovers she'll never see me again Sunrise and sunset! :P -Aaron
OK so I'm dying here. You're walking around in short sleeve shirts and I'm here in Chicago suffering through the first of what will be many a polar vortex this year. Seriously, really enjoyed the video. Looking forward to keeping up with your work. Thanks for sharing the adventure.
Haha! No don't worry we are cold here too. Not Chicago freezing by any means, but we are cold. This was a video back from September. Haha sorry, we should have made that clear in the video. :) We are stoked you really enjoyed the video! We hope you will keep watching and we will keep delivering! Right now we are editing our August trip to Bryce Canyon for the Perseids and our other September trip out to Zion National Park. These videos are very long ones and we will probably need to split both of them up. Maybe not. But can't wait to share them soon! Thanks again for watching and hope you check out the podcast too. --Aaron
Thx cptzbug! It is almost sad that I have to look past the summer when I say I really look forward to getting back up there next Fall and capturing more images. I hate the idea of overlooking summer, my favorite time of the year, but dang...it was just too awesome up there in the fall! :D Thanks for watching and commenting, cptzbug! -Aaron
+High on Photography Thanks! This was one of our favorite videos we have so far too! 😃 It was a lot of fun and the results were one of our best photography moments. Thanks for watching! -Aaron
np, I always support good content. I really like that you are excited about the light and the shots you're gonna get :D also, great images at the end. subbed ;)
+High on Photography ooo awesome! Thanks for subbing! We're stoked to have you along for our future adventures! And yeah, I was genuinely pumped when the light showed up after a couple hours hiking and worrying that when I got there it would be nothing or too rainy etc! -Aaron
great video and thank you for sharing ur experiences with us .. can you advice me which canon u used and which action camera used too? thank you again and wish u all the best with new year
Thanks, ahmed! Glad you enjoyed it and hope you will keep checking in on us! We are editing three more videos right now so plenty more to come. 😃 To answer your questions: Aaron's Camera Canon 6D: goo.gl/lPnNY6 Aaron's Camera for Colors of Fall Canon 70D: goo.gl/TGzYOJ Brendon's Camera Canon 5D mark iii: goo.gl/6KoRK8 Action Camera GoPro Hero 4 Silver: goo.gl/BRLqkf
They were all great shots but my favourite is definitely the panorama. I think the 3rd one was lovely too but just seemed to have a bit too much clarity and contrast for my liking but top shot nonetheless.
Thanks mcgarnacle21, I really am stoked to get a vote for my pictureI Although, I admit, I would have liked to get a panorama from Brendon's spot. I just love the leading line of the gully so much. Definitely a lot of potential here at this spot that Brendon and I will have to explore more often. -Aaron
I forgot to give you my time lapse!!! You could see me at the end of the video talking about it. Well, I'll have to compile all the time lapses into a nice end of year video! :)
haha you asking where are they NOW in 2018 on the hills? or in this video? Because they are all over this video and show up even more in the 2017 video here: ua-cam.com/video/Ph2D4Q3UniA/v-deo.html -Aaron
