The best advice I can offer is , keep it simple , don't get caught up in the " if it ain't broke fix it till it is " , grower's now have so much information to tap into , I had to rely on book's and there wasn't many so I learned from mistakes and made all of them , great video and topic ...thanks !

Im a new grower and im here to tell you. I researched and researched and planned for everything to be perfect. And one i thing ive learned already is none of that matters really. Its good to know but putting hands on and doing it first hand is different than reading or watching videos. First week of my first grow i realized my lighting was off. I got it in time and adjusted it and they exploded in growth. I watched so many videos about lighting but alot of that didnt matter when i was in the situation myself.

What I did...and yeah I know it was a waste of money...but I planted a bunch and treated each one different. Different nutes, schedules, medium, etc. It gave me a great idea of how different techniques affect the plants and what to change up and when. Like I said it was a good bit of money invested doing it but in the end my "first real grow" went great because I worked out the kinks ahead of time. Having said that each subsequent grow has gotten better because the one thing I learned the most is to keep learning. I take ideas from several different outlets and continue to try/modify the methods to suit my environment. You are one of those outlets lol. So thanks for that man.

I started super cropping low stress training and topping for my first grow… I thought that I destroyed my plants when I finished training them.. within a week they bounced back 5X’s better! I have went a little overboard before & broke streams, but threw some tape on them & was supersized to see how they repaired themselves and bounced back.. Cannabis is very resilient, & actually the more you push them to the limits without killing them, the better they perform..

I make my own compost (like 5-6 yards a year), and grow all of my veggies in 100% compost. Just starting with this plant and will give it a shot the same way. The pH is neutral and it has a ton of natural nutrients in it. Watering with urine, some MiracleGro and bloom boost should be a good recipe for success. It looks pretty similar to growing peppers and tomatoes.

Really honest bro you are awsome 100% you are by far my favorite person on UA-cam. I only have 2 that I like and I just want you to know your number #1 reason why is because you are so honest your stright to the point you don't bs us and run us around.your tell us not only 420 stories but life stories as well witch is to me really cool that you take the time to open up to the world not only about your grow witch is a small part of this channel but about life it self.very cool very awsome.and hey while we are on the topic of real life...I'm very truly sorry about your friend.that hit home to me I was actually driving down interstate 64 here in virginia and I always listen.to you in the car even.if it's a rerun I'm all about your channel .anyways you had me with tears in my eyes bro and I do not do alot of the eye watering thing.but again I'm trying to say what a very cool thing you have created for the world to get to know you.this is very big and just wanted you to know we are out here we listen to you every day if not 3 or 4 times per day we are super greatful for everything. So keep on keeping on my brother.may you next run be super dank and super heavy. Rock on my brot

Totally on the money advice. Micromanaging is something I relate to...sooo hard to leave them the hell alone. Having grown for many years outside only, I'm fascinated by the differences between indoor growing and outdoor. Inside, problems seem to manifest faster. The plants require quite a bit more watching paying attention and treatments ( defoliating, training, fixing nutrient deficencies/ overages). Any way, thanks for the content and keep it up!

I hope to get a Gibson Les Paul at some point. Good shit, brotha.

Cool guitar. I am a custom car painter and i paint alot of things that are not a vehicle. So anyway I painted a guitar just like that one you have. . My friend wanted it bright yellow. It came out so nice. I like the way you are going thru the things not to do. Explaining it well. I did do the buy everything when I first started. I had a small growroom and I bought 3 Hid 1000 watt metal halide fixtures for a small room. And I bought advanced nutrients pack of everything and a bunch of other stuff I didnt need. Now I not saying how many years later it is now but now its a big room with 4 spider farmers and Jacks 321 and a great ipm and done. 👍😂👌👊😁

And that was a very positive message about people hating on other people growing thinking that they have the best girl but honestly though no one could be better than me LMAO JK but I have a serious question, why does it smell like hay? Did I mess it up? Or will it go back to normal during the Cure?

No issues yet thank God but have fairly tempered expectations being attempt #1 for sure. They been in their 5 gallon fabric pots only a few days so are tiny things still but they are there. When I encounter an issue I will no doubt try and get your opinion.

training is easy i use a plastic coated wire to tie branches to the pot rim and only make a T shape bending branches into the Y (so opposite to where they are leaning) so you dont snap at the Y.. its good enough with two bent branches at the very least!

Hey 420. Thanks for all advice. I understand micro manager. In Arizona in the summertime you're indoors in the air conditioner. Spend a lot of time with the girls, but I look more than touch. I'm still learning. You get everything dialed in and you still have to wait. I truely love to grow. Waiting for trichomes to change, longer flowering time for my second harvest.

I got from your video# 1 don't overthink it #2 Brook knowledge don't mean nothing without real world experience .EG practice what you read in books I've been growing since 1989 and even today I learned some things that I didn't know yesterday PS ..learn one strain and then try to learn another don't feel your garden with 20 different strains and expect all of them to be top performers each individual plant has its own likes and dislikes .. learn about your strain and read up on that and then go from there .. great video my man something we all needed to hear/ learn .. love the strat such a blues sounding machine👍👍👍✌️🐉
