American Pinball's team, including Steve Bowden, Dennis Nordman, and Ryan McQuaid, contributed to refining the playfield, creating a compelling and immersive experience. Jack Haeger's art direction, Dan Hughes' artwork, and animations by Jessica Durbala and Bobby Llereza bring the game to life. Mechanical design by Zofia Ryan and Mitesh Pithva, along with Benjamin Kibler's project management, ensures seamless operation. Pinball player and voice actor Jeff Teolis adds dynamic commentary as the announcer.

I don't care for the theme but really enjoy the machine! A local arcade has it and I've played it there twice, I played maybe 4 or 5 game each visit and found it to be quite fun. Once you figure out how to activate recipes and boost them for extra points before banking them in, it's really a satisfying game! I also enjoy the multiball and the physical playfield ball locks.

Barry Oursler was a kind, gentle soul and a hell of a pinball designer. Games like Space Station and Pin-Bot are some of my absolute favorites. This thing? I’ve yet to play it, but I immediately do not care much for the theme. Being a Yank, I love BBQ, but I just can’t get on with the theme. I think American Pinball missed the mark with this one. I’m not quite sure what they were thinking.

I saw this in April in the USA at a pinball expo and it was a fun game. I think the MSRP in the USA was $5500? Something like that.

Build quality on all American Pinball machines is quite good.
I don’t think they are selling a ton in US but that’s just grapevine talk. BBQ not my type of theme when there are ENDLESS other amazing options/themes

Why do people shake the table when the ball goes in the pop bumpers? I don't think it does anything.
Well, it always does SOMETHING. Now, whether or not it's worth doing, I agree. I do know one guy who micro-shakes all pinball machines for the entirety of every game! He is very good, so I don't question his method. Not for me, though.
Is it just me or does this look like Taxi but less fun?
This game costs the same as a Stern Pro in the US which means $7k so it should be priced around 8000 GBP once imported to UK. Far from being a "budget" game per se at such price point 😒
$7k usd for the classic, $8.5k usd for the limited edition. I thought I read they're only producing 100 units, so they're all technically 'limited editions' in my book.

It would never appeal to me. Puts me in mind of Thunderbirds, really. Just not a game i would ever want, unfortunately.
It is significantly better built than Thunderbirds and shoots quite cleanly too.
It may be helpful to create a cheat sheet of points to read off of. A loose script. Thanks !

Should have just been a hot rod theme. Too bad the animations are not great at all. Sad his name is tied to this pin. Could have been much better.
