Simply one of the most bad ass representations of what was so unique about the NY scene and sound. (Killing Time at Cb's in 1989 video encapsulates as well) There is a tribal groove to what is going on in the pit....Not just flying arms and karate kicks like kids do now. Thats how you get down.
Fuck....I totally remember this song, and this show. I always loved Outburst, one of the most under rated NYHC bands of the day. Thanks for posting, it brought back some serious memories.
I'M LOOKING AT THE WORLD I LIVE IN & I DON'T LIKE WHAT I SEE....."Where The Wild Things Are " really sealed the deal as far as me worshiping NYHC...of course I had all the Ag Front, Cro-Mags & Murphys Law before that but that compilation brought the newer NYHC sound out.....It blew most of us away.....thanks for posting this...........those were the days - DMIZE, ALTERCATION, FULL CONTACT, DISCIPLINARY ACTION, DISCIPLINE / OCEAN OF MERCY, BREAKDOWN, ETC. ETC....
Did you not like our cover of this tune? It sounds better at a show then at practice. Plus that was a year ago when we did that, I think we are better now.
