I can’t believe it’s actually true. Luckily we have podcasts like these to get to know one of the great comedy minds. WKUK changed the way I viewed comedy. RIP Trevor
WKUK was a favorite for me and all of my friends too. It was such a game changer out of nowhere. I loved how great they were in every sketch. Always giving it 100%. Trevor was instantly my favorite among the entire cast. Although they were all fantastic, Trevor made me feel more passionate towards comedy with his songs and comedic acting. He just always made me laugh more. It crushed me to find out that this hilarious, inspirational man had passed away. I'll never forget Trevor Moore. May he rest in peace.
steve parks the majority of wkuk fans definitely know them from their sketches going viral via UA-cam. I know more than one person who didn’t know it was a show. However, anyone around for the beginning times of Netflix getting massive knows wkuk was available
I knew one other kid that watched it growing up, and anybody I know now might have seen a youtube video of Abraham Lincoln or a gallon of pcp but thats about it
Idk if its your thing or if you seen it already but for something long and uncut some of theguys from wkuk had a dnd sesh and its on youtube worth a watch
I think Trevor Moore is the first celebrity death that actually hit me like this. I got into WKUK at a time in my life where my househould was in fucking shambles. I remember binging this show while I was away from home, and it made me laugh and feel genuine happiness. Now I'm rewatching a lot of these episodes and Trevor continues to make me laugh even after he passed. I hope that his comedy continues to find other people in the future and lives on.
Yeah... I didn't realize they were back and on twitch. He passed and I've been going thru and watching anything at all trying to learn more about him. wkuk is part of me. Love them all so much. Hope they can find some footing and continue on. Rip travis.
My fiancé and I work together. She was sitting next to me in a weekly work meeting (we’re only in the office for an hour once a week), so it’s weird it happened here. It’s sales, so we both sit on the back and I scroll through my phone. I saw the headline. Immediately just B-Line to the bathroom and seem to never stop crying in the stall. Eventually, I head back. Tell her why I left, and cry again, waiting for the elevator. She actually told me today on a hike, I was more fucked up over Trevor Moore passing than my best friend, pseudo grandfather who passed at 98. Trevor being 41 at the time, same age as my fiancé was just so unexpected and hit me like an emotional freight train
Their twitch stuff got me through a deep depression and quarantine. I isolated myself and was away from my now fiancé. Bed ridden. But seeing WKUK back together felt like friends coming back together. Getting them back only to lose Trevor so soon after was so soul crushing
I'm glad Trevor got to spend as much time with his kid as he did but at the same time it breaks my heart anytime i think about what an incredible father that kid lost 😢

When he said his kid was 7 months old my heart just sank... you know if you're a parent that your life and soul goes into your child when from the moment you see them. I just hope his child is more proud of his late fathers accomplishments than he is distraught at not ever being able to consciously meet him. Hope is all you can have in these situations, that such a loss can be equaled or bested by a greater good. That a seed from a great tree grows into an even larger monument of nature, so that hope can continue to grow instead of dwindle.
And why does a hunter need a handgun? Tons of reasons. Say you track this big buck, to the outskirts of town, and you found that he made himself a makeshift home in the bottom of an abandoned warehouse. With a handgun, you could easily sneak up on him and get a death shot. That way he wont be running around with daughter anymore, and filling her head with ridiculous ideas, corrupting her character.
