Pure Poetry. A very nice detail.
It would be cool if there was a Bayonetta that was raised with the Lumen Sages instead of the Umbra Witches. She would have the right eye instead of the left eye and could have a pact with Fortitudo while wielding a sword like Balder's and having a similar moveset. She could also have an angel masquerade maybe turning her hands into Fortitudo's dragon heads. If we get DLC, hopefully something like that will be included.

Yes!! An alternative universe where the Sages are the good guys and the Witches are evil and the Bayonetta from that universe is a Chic Sage instead of a flirtatious Witch
Cool concept, honestly. I would have liked for there to have been more time spent fleshing out the Lumen Sages and their culture-rather than them purely acting as a plot device and foil to the Umbra.
However…this game’s story is all over the place.
•Jubileus: I'm the longest Final Boss in the Bayonetta series.
•Singularity: Hold my dominated multiverses.
Aesir and Loki: guess we don't give a fuck about the Homunculi
2:01:20 for me the best song in the game and the fact that the hits match the music is just fantastic.... so much attention to detail.
That entire sequence had no right to be that epic.... Holy fuck

I've only skimmed through the first three fights but this looks amazing. It's not what I expected from Bayonetta 3 but I'm more than happy to be surprised in this case. Over the top non-stop angel/demon/alien combat with smarmy British one liners to add frosting to this crazy over-the-top cake.
I'm happy because In the fight against magician Bayonetta you can hear a little bit of Jeanne confrontation B from Bayonetta 1
I will admit, the Homunculi are interesting enemies, even their introduction is futuristic.

The ending was ambiguos enough to leave it open to her return... Enzo's wife seems alive and well here, so why can't Cereza and Luka too? Rodin was used to drop the allusion solely because he's ambiguos enough to not give a direct confirmation of wheter they're actually alive or not, let me tell 'ya.

Indeed, or at least, alive enough to be around for Rodin and thus Viola. And if he can, surely Cereza can too. Thus, the happy ending even for the worst case.
I'm not even sure if she could ever return. :( The heart of an umbra witch is broken so it's like she doesn't have any powers anymore. Her body seems to be intact though, but not sure what about her soul. At this point, it seems like we just need a miracle. Though I do like to think that since the world got repaired, maybe other realities and their Bayonettas too??
I think my favorite boss from Bayonetta 3 is Pyrocumulus, he’s a reference/inspiration to Sun Wukong/Monkey King.

And the fact that the finisher is the headpiece that allows him to be controlled and he's trapped under a mountain like in the legend... MMM. That's the good shit right there.
1. Arch-Iridescent & Sin Gomorrah are based on Kaiju from Japanese Fictional Work
2. Arch-Pyrocumulus ability are based on Sun Wukong while Queen Butterfly is Ruyi Jingu Bang in Monkey King Legend from China.
3. Cirrostratus & Cirrocumulus and Stratocumulus are absed on Egyptian Gods. Which are Anubis & Thoth.
4. Baal Zebub fight with Perlucidus which involve Music Matching Button minigames are based on the French Opera.
Well, that was bold. They killed the entire Bayonetta cast and left only Viola. Capcom didn't dare kill Dante and Vergil.
Well, Platinum is well aware of their bad financial situation. They just make sure to say good bye properly to the Bayonetta's fan even if the game sell well or not. That thing alone is the way they show their respect to the fan of this game
They left Enzo and Rodin too.

The game looks great huh. But it's so strange to me that angels don't make ONE SINGLE APPEARANCE. As well as Loki, who after the events of Bayonetta 2 seemed to be very attached to Cereza

Iirc from what I saw Angels might be in optional verses, but I do 100% agree them being completely irrelevant to the plot is... odd
Robin mentioned that the Homoculi could be a threat even to Paradiso/Inferno if they got too strong iirc, so the Angels not being proactive in stopping something that threatens em (even if humanity is damned) is strange. Even if it's just to save their own skin they seem like the sort who'd be quick to try and push down any threat that pops up
@@OriginalGameteer Well we were able to see a Kraken at first which is from Inferno and doesn't seem to be contracted to anyone. For all we know, Paradiso might be dealing with the same stuff and is being attacked by the Alphaverse.

It kind of breaks the lore in a way. Because every other cutscene we've been shown from this and other games is that Cereza and the rest of the Umbra Clan can still be mortally wounded by physical attacks.
