I meet up with Daniel on a mission to catch an urban London carp early in the morning, but things take a turn and before we know it we're spot hopping across the concrete jungle, landing on the craziest spots and fish we can find, all while avoiding the armada of anti-fishing brigade and security guards.

The guy in the orange pullover fussing about fishing and a nature preserve I wouldn’t think letting his dog run around off leash is allowed? If your going to follow the rules follow them yourself.

Look, while I do agree with the general sentiment of the comment section, and that fishing, when done responsibly, doesn't harm nature, you just cannot argue with private waters or with nature reserves. If you want to change that, arguing with grounds keepers isn't going to help. We all must come together and take it higher and make it law that all waters which are publicly accessible should allow public fishing.
Glad these lads are out fishing and not out causing havoc... fair play boys you ain't hurting anyone.

@@theHorizonLiner I stand corrected but couple vids I seen I never noticed 1!but on a serious note if u go round fishing places u shouldn't be in broad daylight we all get branded as dicks not just you! Public lakes round here have been shut for just that reason, someone couldn't wait till dark or hide away!

There was obviously a sign their otherwise the lad would have contradicted the old fella
The fact they had to jump a park fence also strengthens the fact its a nature reserve.
@@randomguy-hs3px: Frankly I think parks should allow fishing, even if it was a supplement to the regular licence; close season is fine, but not allowing fishing at all is complete bullshit, I.M.H.O.
I also think that people need to stop moaning about people fishing; if it keeps people happy and healthy, where's the harm? It's not like I go snatching peoples' kittens for bait now, is it...?
@@NobleKorhedron some parks do allow fishing but we are talking about a nature reserve an area specifically designated as no fishing to protect wildlife. We have thousands of places to fish under our licence for free
Closed season does not apply to still water unless a club rule.
Some people dont give a s$¥t about about wildlife and think there activities should just be allowed because "they are not out selling drugs stabbing people or stealing kittens"
The harm is to our dwindling wildlife in the few protected areas they have
Nature reserve near me allows fishing not all nature reserves ban fishing

So wired how in London people get so upset about that stuff, but it’s true how us anglers will always get to the spots with fish, even if there are signs.

Boys be careful fishing in that Holiday Inn dock, the hotel called the police on you they will arrest you on the spot and and charge you with trespassing
Trespassing isnt a criminal offence and can’t be prosecuted for it
