I’m so glad I came across this content. I used to over share a lot of stories via instagram and WhatsApp. I did unfortunately share too much about my favourite places to eat, hangout, venting moments, holidays and languages. I was just about to share some deeper stuff until I realised I was unnecessarily oversharing. I noticed that my viewers would never contact me or ask how I’m doing. Plus it didn’t add value to my status
Thanks Rosey. Post this video I have actually decided to not even trust a closed friend. They always tell your business sis. If you are not comfortable with 2 others knowing from that bestie don't share to anyone but therapist.
Thanks for sharing this. Other things I'd add to this list to keep private would be..... Your finances, your dating/relationship information and keep your spouse off your social media, what items you own, your pregnancy/baby bump, your future plans and goals.
Learned my lessons about sharing. Heard about the Nigerian lady. It's a pity. I do really have to do better and keep more to myself. Oya they always reshape and pretend they didn't. Sometimes I have had the 3rd party come back to say X Said you said and it my heart I am like but x wasn't supposed to do that. Thanks Zaria
Sorry you are going through this. You can stand up to them politely, create boundaries with consequences if they don't respect, worst case remove yourself from the situation. You can also find a family member who they respect and explain to them how they are hurting you and hopefully they can talk to them. Bullying is not okay and not good for your wellbeing. Also consider therapy
