I think it's just because people don't watch TV as much so you don't see these commercials or Halloween specials. Plus as an adult it's not really expected of you to still dress up and get candy or even party, but everyone expects you to get presents for Christmas.
i feel like these commercials are a big part of the reason why. as kids lots of us either watched a lot of tv or read current magazines, or had halloween-themed school spirit days at school, immersing us in the halloween vibe in a way that's harder to recreate today
I'd say mid-2010s is when it happened, its a lost of creativity. Commercials used to have a little storyline put in it but now its just buy into it we don't care anymore.
Quarantine at the new maze in Knott’s Scary Farm, it’s will celebrate Quarantine’s 15th anniversary of terror. I was dressed as Princess Fiona for Halloween, I was 7 years old two days later turned 8, I’ll dress up as Grim Reaper for Halloween in October, or a witch.
@@Dinkleberg69 lol that movie scared an entire generation my dude. Pretty much the last millennials & elder Gen Z’s. Even teens back then. Do research 💀
Happy Halloween! Nothing puts me in the spirit like 2000s commercials.
The good ol days man..
There gone man..
The scariest thing is that Kmart is dead
Not in Guam!!
I miss Kmart and toy's are us 😢
And now. A Ghost to haunt us
😢
Not in Guam LOL
Really feels like halloween used to be a bigger deal back then, didn't it?
these days it’s all about christmas.. it seems like people are trying to turn halloween into a “little” holiday now
Not unless you follow all things on social media it may seem small now but it’s still a big deal

Wow Reese's Halloween commercials really just never change huh?
Halloween ain't the same anymore. I used to see even the bad neighborhoods try to give out treats. Now the streets are silent.

I still have witch Marge from the Burger King Halloween set
when did commercials say fuck it and have no life
