Welcome to Game Hacking 104, the fourth video in the GHS Hacking Series!

In this video, we take our first look at how to use Cheat Engine to scan for “hidden” values that you can’t see in the game. Example: you have a health bar, but you can’t see an actual number for your health (such as 100% or 50 or any other number).
If you don’t have Cheat Engine or if you’re brand new to Cheat Engine / Game Hacking, we recommend watching the GH100 series from the beginning: guidedhacking....
We’re using Nioh (the first one) as an example, but what we show in the video works with MANY more games.
Keep in mind that not every game works the same, and we specifically chose Nioh for this video because it’s easy to hack (we choose more difficult games later as the series progresses) so things might not work exactly the same as you see it in the video if you’re trying on a different game.
For this reason, we recommend you practice either on the game shown, or you can download one of the following FREE games to practice on:
In the video, we cover the following topics:
1. More advanced Cheat Engine Scan Types (not VALUE types): particularly the following:
a. Unknown Initial Value
b. Unchanged Value Scan
c. Increased Value Scan
d. Decreased Value Scan
2. How to use hotkeys to make scanning A LOT easier!
3. How to pause games INSTANTLY using Cheat Engine.
4. How to give yourself “REAL” infinite health (so you don’t still die even when you freeze it in the address list)
5. An example where the value on the screen DOESN’T match what’s happening with the internal value in memory and what you can do to find the right address anyway.

But chances are, all this work scanning for values and addresses will get CTRL+ALT+DELETED as soon as you shut off the game, and you’ll need to do the scans ALL OVER AGAIN!
