I can't wait to watch Jensen on this show. Not just because I love how much he's talented and workholic but also because this show is really my favorite show. It's like they gave me a crossover. I can't wait.
Same, this is a fantastic show and to get to see my favorite (and multi-talented ) actor on it too. It's such a gift. I'm really excited he got to join and work with this amazing cast and crew.

I need to catch up with the boys. Love that Jensen is coming onto season 3 and even more, I love that Eric is finally getting credit as a fantastic director/showrunner that he deserves. He did awesome with not just SPN but also Timeless which is a show I wished hadn't been cancelled.
After watching the first three episodes, being able to listen to them talking about the show without spoiling to much makes me wonder how hardcore herogasm will be!
I heard them say in an interview it is the most outrageous bit of television ever filmed

Kripke bringing Jensen on was a stroke of genius. Not only is he an amazing actor - they got a good chunk of the SPN family that wasn't watching this show before. I sure wasn't. I gave it a shot, but it didn't immediately grab me. With ADHD, that means I lost interest incredibly fast. But then they cast the ONE MAN that could get me to watch it. 4D chess right there.

He’s a Kiwi (New Zealand). But yeah I’d imagine his accent has changed over the many years of doing British accents for film/tv. Especially for the Boys, he has a Cockney accent but the Kiwi comes through quite a bit 🤣

Loved Christian Slater on Mr. Robot, such good acting. Agree with the comments though, the source material has so much potential and the show is squandering it, leaning heavy into the wrong things.

You dont have to top yourself if the source material takes it to the limit and the boys source material goes way beyond most of what I've seen with these two eyes.

I love the Boys but the Trump parallels are not subtle and kinda dumb. like yes he was a shit president and an instigator but he isn't a fascist dictator and there are a lot of other factors to bring up when talking about potential WW3. Like this show is so much more and can be a lot more than just "lol Homelander is like Trump cuz he's a mean powerful white guy lol" Like I think thats kinda understating what Homelander represents in the real world. Actual facism, work place harassment, the consequences of being raised without biological parents, childhood fame, mental illness, self conscious ego driven behavior.
