Everyone was in on the jokes. Nobody got their feelings hurt. Everyone including Joe had fun doing this roast.

The Willy Wonka slow burn at the end,,, hahahaahhahahahaa. Both comics crushed. - This whole roast was excellent, minus the audio set up - Joe is such an excellent and consistent roaster, I don’t know why Roast Battle doesn’t consult with him on a mic set up that would be accommodating.
To be good at roasting, you yourself must be at least partially dead inside. So no matter what someone looks like or their background... There's this different sense of community and empathy than most entertainment. Life ain't easy for either of these dudes, even if they've found success. They both had to work harder than most of us. And they respect that about each other, and yet they're both dark enough and comfortable with each other to rip each other's vulnerabilities.
I've not encountered Joe's work before but I love finding new comedians. Love Brad Williams, he always seems such a good guy! I bet he is a hell of a laugh to hangout with, I just wish I could look up to him. Its a shame he can't make it BIG but I'm sure with a leg up he could at least make it small. And who knew that Joe would turn out to be twice the man Brad is? Even while sitting down... But I guess thats just how Joe rolls...
The audio is unintelligible for me. I wish it was recorded from the stage microphones instead of one in the middle of the room that mixes every possible sound and the echo of the room.
Uhg a few women in the audience were just straight plain ANNOYING. Hard to hear a lot of joe’s setups because of them, and super rude after being hushed and Brad gesturing to quiet down, to wait till it’s silent and then hoot and hauler again. Uhggg
