That is exactly wrong. Notch filters are nearly always used as cuts, which makes this simpler as no unwanted options to confuse. EQ also sounds better if cut than boosted if possible.
Sounds good. But it always sounds like an electric guitar to me no matter how you set it. I find getting a good sound out of my acoustic with K&k mini's an impossibility. Baggs and Fishman sound worse but don't have the horrendous feedback issues. I don't have the time or inclination to become an electric engineer and experiment for years with tons of wildly overpriced gear. It's hard enough trying to be excellent at playing guitar. The ONLY way to amplify the actual sound of a beautiful guitar is in an environment where you are using the highest quality external microphone(s), through the best recording studio quality speakers, using the most sophisticated mixing and amplification technology, overseen by a brilliant team of engineers. All the rest is basically crap. PERIOD.
Really helpful demo. Great playing, too.
Excellent demonstration! And yes, nice guitar playing. Thank you.

Excellent! THANKS BRO
I can't think of it, but what is the song at 5:30?
I hate the notch filter. What's the point in a notch you can't boost and cut, you can't really perfect the sound without boost.

HEllo bro! Is it for a passive pick up only? Thank you!
Russell
+russell white Nope. The 'Impedance' switch always for both active (low) and passive (hi and hi+) pickups.
Thank you bro! Russell
+russell white No problem.
There is a huge 32dB of gain available, as well as impedance switches, so can cope with virtually anything.
