You are such a good father, and your son reflects that. He is learning so much from you, but the most valuable thing is that he is loved. It shows in his calm confidence, his clear eyes, his poise. As a mom with a grown son, I enjoy watching your relationship as much as I do the wonderful adventures. xo from Oregon

I grew up in Indiana and every spring - we lived in an area that had morel mushrooms. We would pick and mom would clean and fry. I will never forget how we loved these and seeing this video - now I am craving mushrooms - especially morel.

I found 20 lbs of Chicken of the Woods yesterday here in Indiana. My brother who lives in St. Cloud, MN wants half, lol. Absolutely a great edible.

This is my first year of mushroom hunting. So far this year I have identified, harvested, and ate PheasantBack and today, Chicken of the Woods. I followed your recipe and they turned out great!
I know all mushrooms are edible...some only once, so I might not venture too far past the top easiest to identify types.

I love mushrooms, but would have no idea about the right ones. even if I wanted to.except of course the tall round ones that look like a sponge.I thing they grow in abounding here in NC. Those look so good.you had to mention fried zucchini which we love in the South. Especially in the summer.
