wow! At about 3:14, how did you manage to lift it all in one hand by yourself, the entire PG1 gearbox??! Doesn't it like have 70 or 80kilos in it? I've removed the PG1 gearbox previously and wouldn't try it without an engine crane, makes it so much simpler. Last week I successfully mated a Jatco auto box to the KV6 engine and the crane makes it quite easy, it helps to balance it evenly when lifting.
Sod that job I will definitely find the money from somewhere and get it done at garage mines the diesel TD4 this motor although a good engine 'twas definitely shoehorned into the freelanders .
I take all the bolt but still not coming out

Is it possible match a manual gearbox like that instead a automatic transmission (jatco) into a freelander?
Great video again siscg.
did u remove the engine mounting or just loosen it plz help
Engine mounting was removed. Make sure the engine is properly supported and prevented from rocking before removing the mounting.
