Dont forget assemble. Back in 2k14, they had multiple attires for a wrestler, with different entrances and motion all in one slot. I remember this with shawn Micheal and john cena specifically. Trust they're just trying to make it seem like the roster is bigger with the way theyre doing it now
I want like an Intro to Raw where one of the commentators tells you exactly where you are and you get to see the stage light up just like we could 4 or 5 years ago. Smackdown aswell obviously, I don’t see the point in NXT being on universe mode when almost nobody keeps it in the save and just drafts whatever nxt star to raw or Smackdown. I’d also like to see the draft after WM and all that, but I also want superstars to have their real moveset and not some random moves that they’ve never performed irl 😂. For Big PPV’s like WrestleMania and Summerslam I want bigger entrance ramps and for WrestleMania just overall a way bigger arena. I also want to be able to have an app where I can create an attire and import it onto any wrestler in the game, imagine the attires you could make like your favourite show, Give the street profits a CR7 Attire since they love doing the SUI. So much could be done.
6 things I want: - Updated overalls and attire throughout the year - promos - Better crowd involvement like counting 1, 2, 3 For matches, or being dead silent when a heel wins against an over face, whoop that trick (also add booker’s ad libs) - Better commentary (give each brand their own commentary teams to feel fresh, add in backstage commentators for universe mode to comment on things as well like how sideline reporters comment on stuff in nba/nfl games, heck even announce main event matches backstage or a potential cash in - tournaments, number 1 contender matches, king/queen of the ring tournaments, - match types, iron survivor match, underground match, 3 team war games matches, 5v5 war games matches, triple threat 5v5 matches, tag team battle royals, etc
Only thing I would add is they need to fix entrances..We need more 3 man and 4 man entrances(some they took out like imperium).. Also DX tag entrance haven’t worked the past few games and the pyro on HHH DX entrance doesn’t work😂
Hopefully commentators will also say out the name of Custom superstars nicknames that's all I want being able to hear, *Johnny Bravo, Dexter Laboratory, Ed, Edd, & Eddie, Homer Simpson* names being spoken out alteast few times during matches and when their doing their entrances I hope the commentators talk about the.. With their nicknames being spoken about. *Instead of just calling them superstars or he or him or this guy or whatever I hope chatgpt AI will do technology implemented on WWE 2k25 will be great to speak out the names of custom superstars nicknames it'll be small details but amazing to impress every fans who plays this game I'll bet my 100 dollars on that*
The Iron Survivor being in WWE 2K25 would be absolutely fucking amazing and I love the idea of updated crowd involvement and updated commentary would be a small but meaningful tweak.
One thing I want to see come back is the referee lifting and dropping the arm during a submission, it's something I haven't seen in years and adds a lot of much needed realism to submission moves
This is exactly what this game needs WWE 13. What’s the best but they need to bring back story design/create a story mode either that or or incorporate with universe mode. I appreciate that they do the cut scenes in universe mode, but it shouldn’t have anything to do with just the people on the ride already take the rivalry system out of there. You should be able to add whoever you want in the cast of a cut scene just like you used to be able to back in a day and until they bring that back, I will not buy another WWE game again it’s been over 10 years now. The reason why that mode should not have been brought back.
Just give us 2K19 with an accurate roster. 2K as devs are meh. They’ve monopolized and have gotten lazy. It also feels like the developers don’t watch the product.

I wish the whole submission mini game would be updated.. the button smash should show them trying to struggle out the whole time instead of winning the mini game and just an automatic submission break
Great coverage as always, you consistency is greatly appreciated. Couple things to add that I believe would enrich gameplay. 1. Merge GM and Universe modes 2. Borrow AEW FF’s mechanic for locking up with an opponent and moving them around/into the ropes and corners. 3. Do away with strike combos and replace with grapple strikes (a Yuke’s feature from older games) 4. Bring back Chain Wrestling but as an assignable Payback ability. 5. Reestablish a 1 or 2 button reversal system 5.1 Allow all reversals to be manually selected and set in the Moveset edit suite. 6. Increase CAW slots by eliminating duplicates of Superstars. Just provide the attire asserts in the Creation suite. Yeeah!
7:24 there was a feature like this in the 360/PS3 versions of the WWE Games, though the feature was removed when the games were released on PS4 and Xbox One. It would be cool to see a feature like that again!
I want: - the titles to look 3d and not just like a printed texture with emboss on it - Be allowed to change a WWE superstar's hair, beard, face paint etc - Have the camera motion during entrances look more natural - The showcase to be like 15-16 again - Remove the fight stance
Your second point would be a game changer, my favorite part of these games is changing up everyone’s look, it’s dumb that you can’t change anything above the neck. Also let us give them tattoos

What was good is when they took a 2 year break to create a fully fresh game since 2k20 flopped so hard. However I don’t want them to go for another 2 years, I cannot wait 2 years ffs.
Doesn't feel like they're paying attention to the details to create a great experience. Feels like they're attention is on the cash grab. If you grab the people....the money will come in abundance.
CAW: More names for presentation name (including wrestlers already in the game) CAS: Better customization for match-up screens, overlays, replay screens & transitions CAA: More retro stages, more parts for customization and different venues (especially outside) Universe: Add more slots Oh and… DOUBLE THE IMAGE COUNT

Like for example if I create CAW like *Harry Potter, Homer Simpson, Batman* I want my custom superstars nicknames to be heard and spoken during their entrances and on during the matches!
I want an in depth universe mode that allows you to book a show in detail and possibly get feedback for booking kind of like mygm without heavy restrictions and less of a boardgame feel.
One small thing I would like and make the game a little bit more realistic is Auto Centred moves, and by which I mean we can hold down a button when initiating a grapple and the player automatically positions then CPU so the move lands in the centre of the ring. When a match is due to finish in real life, it often ends in the centre of the ring.
The smallest of things that has bothered me in both 23 and 24...the titles in the intro scenes in the ring. They are like 3 inches off their bodies and its obvious. Always wondered why they havent fixed that yet.
The way they could do this pop for certain superstars is replace the overall system with Popularity, it does pretty much the same thing as overall, but also gives that extra crowd reaction.
Exactly! Give players the ability to tweak the pop or boos based on their rating . What if we want Big E to be the biggest star ! His pop should be huge
I mean, to be honest, if they wanted to, they could give us different commentators for the different shows. If NBA 2k can cycle through and give you like 9 different commentators to mix up randomly. I don't see how it would be any different for WWE 2K. they already have different ring announcers set for the different shows.
One of the biggest things that I'd personally like is a free roaming mode for the stories. Getting to walk around backstage and interact with other superstars again, maybe even come to the ring before a show and "train". Or sit in Gorilla while the show is going on, that might be asking too much, but would be pretty neat. Set it up more like an RPG
I’ve always had this suggestion when it comes to crowd noises: they should input real ones. One of the loudest pops someone’s ever had should be used when a character is a babyface. Same as heel, the loudest boo should be used. That way it doesn’t feel generic.
The referee's breaking fights apart with the classic voice lines of Adam Pearce ,,ENOUGH, YOU WANT TO FIGHT, YOU WANT TO FIGHT, GOOD, YOU'RE HAVING A TITLE MATCH NOW!, ,, I NEED A MEDIC OVER HERE COME ON!" and ,, I need a drink..." somehow NEED to be in the game 😂😂😂
One small detail that needs to be added is the effects on limb damage like if someone legs are in moderate or critical damage they limp while walking and running, kicks becomes weaker and the same if you target the arms and other effects for head and body damage and also they need to add a feature where if someone like Roman Reigns or Seth Rollins for example enters a match with wet hair it dries up by the end of the match like real life leaving their hair messy depending on how long the match goes and if someone with long hair enters a match with dry hair it will look wet by the end of the match depending on the length as well and blood needs to able to be smeared on wrestlers clothes, hands, hair, and other parts of the body when busted open like real life i will say the blood in 2K24 is best it's looked in any game tho
I love that idea Assemble it’s should be a popularity meter you can lower and raise to increase the crowd cheers and boos something you can adjust as you see fit even add it to created superstars
In mygm and universe mode we need the most basic ability to be able go look at what matches were booked the week before so I don’t repeat matches, I’m currently using my notes app to note all my matches and results down
I want the "L.E.D. to working on ring and barricades during the matches and have an option to turn them off in the settings for the ppl who don't. I want it. 👍
A simple thing I would like is to clean up the wrestler selection. Like, if I go into Play Mode just to set up a simple match, I only want to see the wrestlers who are currently available to me. I don't need to see a bunch of [LOCKED] slots to remind me to play MyFaction (which I really don't). And another great addition would be when selecting a member of a team or faction - have a separate section available with faction members to choose from, instead of defaulting to one specific partner and then having to sift through the whole roster to select a different partner.
I'm glad you touched on the rewards, because I've been feeling that way for a few years now. One thing I appreciated about 2K19 was the points system that they had across the different modes of the game. Like playing matches in exhibition gave you a certain amount of points, depending on the match rating and running shows in Universe modes also did the same. Then you could use those points to unlock stuff or upgrade your wrestler in MyCareer. Or just for those of us who like scorekeeping, just watching the point continue to rack up. That's the kind of little stuff I miss because you always felt like you were earning something the more you played in each different mode.
I've always wanted a pinball feature like you knock your opponent and an press Y or something and your opponents get up straight away but still groggy so you can chain moves together rather than do a move, pick opponent up, tie up,then do next move. Essentially wake up taunts but with out theatrics and you can prompt them while doing a move.I hope I explained it well.
Search options moves. Like if I search the word knee then all moves with word knee in it should show up. Slightly bigger change: A camera mode. Nothing too fancy but one with adjustable depth of field and focus would be great.
also a very smal detail that i want is that everybody with straps should be able to pull them off especially for coustum character. Bron Breakker can pull them down, but when I changed the colour from it i couldnt do it anymore which is stupid. also I would love to see something similar in other superstars like Trick Williams for exampel when he pulls off his hair tie or something like that. It just creates some kind of flow and coolness to a match in my opinion.
I think I figured out the issue. WWE 2k24 is one of my all time favorite wrestling games now, but that's because of my own effort. I've messed with sliders, adjusted settings, created my own arenas. BUT THE BIGGEST ISSUE with the base game feeling stale is that none of the wrestlers feel like themselves. Everyone for the most part has the same basic "standing elbow drop" move-set. In my game (after also playing with stats and sliders), Randy Orton vs John Cena doesn't feel like two video game characters robotically jogging around a ring. It FEELS like Randy Orton vs. John Cena.
You made some good points. There are some changes I would make. - To go along with your point of crowd noises, I think they need to add more crowd noises to CAWs. When the CAWs come out, the crowd noise is like non existent. -My issue with universe mode is I don’t find it fun. It is just making match after match with cut scenes added in between. There is no story element to it, and I find myself trying to make up the story in my head. You might have mentioned this before, but able to look back at the previous week to see what you did. If you leave the game for a month or something. It might help to remember what you were doing. Also import your tag teams to universe mode - I actually really like the aspect of gm mode, but PLEASE get rid of the class system. Let us choose who WE want. There is no reason a Austin/Hogan (in their prime) should be a 2 star match. Increase that budget. I have been saying that from the beginning, we don’t need 15 John cenas and 10 undertakers. Make attires. Maybe 3 undertakers: deadman, biker, and current (from match with AJ) and 2 Cenas: Rap gimmick and Modern Cena, 3, if you want current with the long hair. Not 15. That’s a few things that come to my mind at the moment.
I need them to allow for custom ringside, stage, etc video. It drives me crazy that I'll have a perfect entrance setup for a CAW but then a wrestler's name is all over the place.
It’s the intricate details for me. For example being able to quickly roll in and out of the ring to restart the refs count. Also give us more slots for community creations!!!
Make the created superstars more realistic! In universe mode if I’m a superstar that’s getting pushed make the crowd reactions pop more. Make the announcers actually say the superstars name (not just the ring announcer) Bring back created finishers for the ones who want it for there created superstars And finally bring back created storylines and make the created entrances have more of a variety to choose from Edited: in universe mode have backstage fights during interviews. I really think they don’t pay attention enough to the created superstars portion of the game!
It annoys me when my custom world championship is on the line and despite being the main belt on raw/smackdown michael cole would say something like "i havent heard much of this championship" its a small thing but it just doesnt feel right
@ right instead of saying that saying something like “this is a new championship and everybody wants a piece of it” or “this championship has high stakes and everybody wants it at its early stage” make the custom championships mean something like real titles in the game
Commenting again- 11:51 I miss this so much. The last time this was a thing in the series was like 2K16. All they had to do was let us edit the entrance on the alternate attire and it would've been perfect.
The game used to include separate commentary teams. I can't recall the year it was included, but we definitely had it when JR and King were one of the commentary teams with Cole on another.
Gameplay wise, I would like the combo system to go honestly. I don’t think it really works well with a wrestling simulation game. I would like to see chain wrestling come back as well like in 2K19. I really do like the trading blows mechanic so if they brought chain wrestling back, that’s another aspect of methodical wrestling that could be in the game. Use of the title at ringside during matches if there is a champion. Creations, more CAW slots would be nice even if it is just 150 or 200. Streamline the cutscene system more, add more control for the player to do things they want to do like run-ins, cash ins, more variety. I always find it difficult to really get to what I want to do even if it is a simple run in. It’s often confusing to just try and do a simple thing. That’s it in terms of the small things. There’s plenty of big things, but they need to handle some of the smaller stuff first before they get to adding anything major.
One really small thing I’d really like would be that if you come out with a manager and your manger happens to be a champion, the manager should have that title around his/her waist. I always thought it was weird that the managers never came out with their respective titles
I have so much on my list that I feel like I would just be happy if another developer took over the franchise but unfortunately I know that won’t happen 😭
Small Changes - Referee response time, championship physics (going through clothing, not sitting on shoulders during cutscene), fix facial expressions (not every wrestler is angry when beginning a match), remove the fixed fighting stance and walk (miss Shinsuke's iconic walk as the match starts)
What I would want is - promos not only the regular promos but like talk shows like example select The Miz and you have The Miz Show, select Kevin Owens you get the KO Show, select Bayley you get Ding Dong Hello Show, select Alexa you get A Moment of Bliss or Alexa's Playground etc., and this is where I wish Kayla Braxton was still in the company should also do backstage promo/interviews - intergender matches - maybe if you want to do 24/7 Championship they should have a chase in universe mode - 5 vs 5 to have the classic survivor series matches - elimination chamber tag team match with 6 teams if you want to recreate or do a elimination chamber tag match
Mix SHUT YOUR MOUTH, HCTP, SVR 07,09,11, 2K14,19 All into One Game....those games will give us all the stuff back that we ask for that is missing....we also need BETTER MAT SOUNDS ALSO!
On the entrances, when we customize an entrance, incorporating the title into our customized entrance and not be forced to pick a generic championship entrance
what i want in 2K25: -interactive environments -more breakout entrances -the name of the custom matches i created appearing on the screen -special weapon attacks
Major updates: Expand existing features- 1v2 finishers, catch finishers, and tag team entrances. Set up Tag Team Finishers to be hit from anywhere, not just in the corner. Attire slots for characters that aren't different. (You literally said that one as I typed it). Set Weapon Finishers, they already gave Sandman the unique White Russian Leg Sweep as a grapple, and in previous games, RVD could throw a chair at your face, which he then kicked. The minor stuff is stuff like adding logos in updates over time, or fixing commentary flubs.
Regarding the pops the biggest issue is the timing. Something most players probably haven’t even noticed, the pop doesn’t happen when the music hits the pops happen when the superstar comes out. For example when Stone Colds glass breaks, nothing when he comes out crowd pop. It should be when the music hits. I have always maintained that the game is best in the small details. Just like my favorite tweak they made for 2k24 how the ref slaps the mat. They kind of crank their arm which they didn’t do in 2k23 making it much more like it is IRL thats a fine detail that to me makes a big impact.
I'm praying they listen to you about Submissions. Such a small tweak, such a huge impact. Crawling and camera cuts, then I'll be fine with the mindless button mash. I'd add onto your Entrance camera angles idea to maybe have a Camera Cut Button you can press in-match to add drama to big spots the game might not recognize on its own, so you could make your own OMG Moments. It'd also give you something to do during tag matches in Universe.

I'm trying to remember how far back it was in the series. But there were games in the SVR days were wrestlers could grab the rope and you could hold on and get DQ'd if you held on until the 5 count. It would be great if we coulw so that again. It would also be cool if we could also have a corner mini-game where your striking the opponent and the ref counts until 5.
They used to have it where every different wrestler had different attires that came out differently depending which one you picked idk why they stopped that smh
I’ve always wanted a function where you can edit the probability of a certain superstar winning that match. Or you could add a function where if both superstar in a title match are down and mr/mrs MITB cashes in. Or interference like you said. Or a return of some superstar related to that match.
I think the idea of more submissions having the crawl feature would be great. Beyond crawl feature, I think being able to hold the submission for up to 4 counts should be incorporated as well. Lastly, a cool feature would also be the ability to pull the opponent back to the center of the ring. I think it should be something submission specialists like Kurt Angle and Brett Hart could do and maybe it costs 2 finishers to do and makes it almost a guaranteed win
Guys they put this engine together with ducttape so all these things would be wonderfully to have but it seems like if thy try and give us any of this it will brake what does work on the game
My favorite all time wrestler is the Undertaker. And my pet peeve that always gets me is that they can't get the entrance right. The standard is that Taker does his entrance, takes the hat and coat off as he does the eye rolls thing, which is good. But then I want to edit Taker's attire to his 2010 attire and now the coat and hat looks very awkward.
Sorry for the double post but in SvR07 they had different animations for initial grapples. I wish they would do the same for 2K25. Its unrealistic to use the collar & elbow tie up animation. That's only done in the beginning of matches irl. It's more of a test of strength/positioning battle. It makes no sense to do it on a dazed opponent.

Features I’d Love to See in WWE 2K25 New Features: • Head of Creative Mode: Essentially a revamped Create-a-Story mode, but more detailed. This should include everything we had in the past-intros, outro credits, dynamic branching paths, and the ability to craft contenders for titles. Better yet, integrate it into MyGM for a seamless experience where you can manage storylines alongside your roster! • The Return of Create-A-Finisher: Was it over-the-top? Sure, but it was pure creative gold. Let us craft those ridiculous, jaw-dropping moves again-wrestling is all about the spectacle! • Streamline Modes: Take the best features from Universe Mode and fuse them into MyGM. Universe has run its course. And as for MyFaction… please, 2K, just stop. My wallet is crying, my soul is exhausted. • Submission Crawls: Borrow from real-life drama-add the ability for wrestlers to crawl to the ropes during submissions. It would add so much tension to matches! • Cross-Gender Creation Freedom: Let us mix and match creation suite parts between male and female wrestlers. It's 2024-we’re past arbitrary restrictions. • Bring Back Advanced Music Creation: We used to be able to assign multiple music tracks. This worked wonderfully-why was it ever removed? • Revamped Create-a-Video: This feature desperately needs a facelift. Make it a full-fledged editor with frame-by-frame options so we can create custom titantrons that flow seamlessly. The current setup just doesn’t cut it. MyGM Improvements: • Ditch Classes: This isn’t World of Warcraft! Classes are too limiting and kill creativity on match cards. Let us make the matches we want, with any wrestlers we choose. • Fix the Rating System: The in-match star ratings are too easy to max out and don’t mean much. Make it harder to earn, but impactful. For example, hitting 5 stars during a match could boost its rating, but rivalries, stipulations, and crowd investment should ultimately determine how fans judge it. • Optional Injuries: Wrestlers getting injured every other week? No thanks. Let us toggle injuries on or off for a smoother experience. Universe Mode: • Honestly, just scrap it. It’s outdated. Take what’s still good and move it to MyGM. Showcase Mode: • Either reimagine it or retire it. If you keep it, go back to the 2K16-style format with commentary, no music interruptions, and minimal slingshot cinematics. Save those for the big moments, like a match-ending finisher-less is more. Miscellaneous: • Increase Image Limits: 1,000 images is way too restrictive. Aim for 100,000-we’re not building PowerPoints here, we’re designing epic custom creations! • Post-Match Breakout Cutscenes: When chaos erupts, let referees and GMs storm the ring to break up the brawls. The generic taunt we have now? It’s lifeless. • Improved Camera Angles: In tag matches or multi-man bouts, the overhead "dungeon crawler" perspective feels out of place. Add dynamic, ringside-style shots for a more immersive experience. Even the main camera could use less movement-stick to simple pans and zooms to keep the action grounded. (if this comment reads as if chatgpt generated it, that's because it did. I throw my ideas to chatgpt and it makes a cohesive list out of it)
The biggest small detail that I need to see improvement on...is the SuperCharger. It's optional. Always has been for those who want the grind, and that's great. But while it's optional, I need this thing to go back to unlocking EVERYTHING. If 2K wants to leave the MyFaction nonsense out of that, so be it. But the SuperCharger needs to go back to giving ALL wrestlers, arenas, and CAW parts from all the other modes. The logic behind that is that, while there's always a deep roster and a good selection of arenas...at the end of the day, there's still only so many wrestlers and arenas, and it makes no sense having to grind like this for the same stuff every year. In MyRise in particular, it's literally the same arenas every year that are locked behind that mode.
I'd like more detail in the Championships instead of the flat image. Also, side plates need an overhaul like have each belt have thei own side plate options (like the WWE and WHC have their own section) for all the belts
They gotta just make universe mode like raw 2 season mode the cut scenes and options are crazy good, crazy thinking hows good that game was and that was made 20 years ago..., also whats with community creations never working these days 😢
I like the idea of weapon customisation ... it would also be cool to be able fo assign a default weapon in the creation suite. In the game superstars like Triple H have a default weapon (e.g. a sledgehammer), they grab this the first time they go for a weapon. It would be cool to have that as a customisation option in WWE 2K going forward.
They need to bring back the reversal limits AND visible damage/fatigue. Destroying your opponent only for them to reverse and bounce back as if nothing ever happened is absolutely ridiculous.

Dont forget assemble. Back in 2k14, they had multiple attires for a wrestler, with different entrances and motion all in one slot. I remember this with shawn Micheal and john cena specifically. Trust they're just trying to make it seem like the roster is bigger with the way theyre doing it now

Universe Mode should be a living breathing episodic experience
I want like an Intro to Raw where one of the commentators tells you exactly where you are and you get to see the stage light up just like we could 4 or 5 years ago. Smackdown aswell obviously, I don’t see the point in NXT being on universe mode when almost nobody keeps it in the save and just drafts whatever nxt star to raw or Smackdown. I’d also like to see the draft after WM and all that, but I also want superstars to have their real moveset and not some random moves that they’ve never performed irl 😂. For Big PPV’s like WrestleMania and Summerslam I want bigger entrance ramps and for WrestleMania just overall a way bigger arena. I also want to be able to have an app where I can create an attire and import it onto any wrestler in the game, imagine the attires you could make like your favourite show, Give the street profits a CR7 Attire since they love doing the SUI. So much could be done.
Need show intros and PROMOS. Using AI can generate promos with the rivalry actions so easily
6 things I want:
- Updated overalls and attire throughout the year

- Better crowd involvement like counting 1, 2, 3 For matches, or being dead silent when a heel wins against an over face, whoop that trick (also add booker’s ad libs)
- Better commentary (give each brand their own commentary teams to feel fresh, add in backstage commentators for universe mode to comment on things as well like how sideline reporters comment on stuff in nba/nfl games, heck even announce main event matches backstage or a potential cash in
- tournaments, number 1 contender matches, king/queen of the ring tournaments,
- match types, iron survivor match, underground match, 3 team war games matches, 5v5 war games matches, triple threat 5v5 matches, tag team battle royals, etc
Only thing I would add is they need to fix entrances..We need more 3 man and 4 man entrances(some they took out like imperium).. Also DX tag entrance haven’t worked the past few games and the pyro on HHH DX entrance doesn’t work😂

The Iron Survivor being in WWE 2K25 would be absolutely fucking amazing and I love the idea of updated crowd involvement and updated commentary would be a small but meaningful tweak.
One thing I want to see come back is the referee lifting and dropping the arm during a submission, it's something I haven't seen in years and adds a lot of much needed realism to submission moves

This is exactly what this game needs WWE 13. What’s the best but they need to bring back story design/create a story mode either that or or incorporate with universe mode. I appreciate that they do the cut scenes in universe mode, but it shouldn’t have anything to do with just the people on the ride already take the rivalry system out of there. You should be able to add whoever you want in the cast of a cut scene just like you used to be able to back in a day and until they bring that back, I will not buy another WWE game again it’s been over 10 years now. The reason why that mode should not have been brought back.
Just give us 2K19 with an accurate roster. 2K as devs are meh. They’ve monopolized and have gotten lazy. It also feels like the developers don’t watch the product.

Great coverage as always, you consistency is greatly appreciated. Couple things to add that I believe would enrich gameplay.
1. Merge GM and Universe modes
2. Borrow AEW FF’s mechanic for locking up with an opponent and moving them around/into the ropes and corners.
3. Do away with strike combos and replace with grapple strikes (a Yuke’s feature from older games)
4. Bring back Chain Wrestling but as an assignable Payback ability.
5. Reestablish a 1 or 2 button reversal system
5.1 Allow all reversals to be manually selected and set in the Moveset edit suite.
6. Increase CAW slots by eliminating duplicates of Superstars. Just provide the attire asserts in the Creation suite.

- the titles to look 3d and not just like a printed texture with emboss on it
- Be allowed to change a WWE superstar's hair, beard, face paint etc
- Have the camera motion during entrances look more natural
- The showcase to be like 15-16 again
- Remove the fight stance

MyFACTION is like WWE's take on Madden Ultimate Team, not to mention that all Sports Games have a mode like this. They all should be removed.
CAW: More names for presentation name (including wrestlers already in the game)
CAS: Better customization for match-up screens, overlays, replay screens & transitions
CAA: More retro stages, more parts for customization and different venues (especially outside)
Universe: Add more slots

I want an in depth universe mode that allows you to book a show in detail and possibly get feedback for booking kind of like mygm without heavy restrictions and less of a boardgame feel.
One small thing I would like and make the game a little bit more realistic is Auto Centred moves, and by which I mean we can hold down a button when initiating a grapple and the player automatically positions then CPU so the move lands in the centre of the ring.
When a match is due to finish in real life, it often ends in the centre of the ring.

The smallest of things that has bothered me in both 23 and 24...the titles in the intro scenes in the ring. They are like 3 inches off their bodies and its obvious. Always wondered why they havent fixed that yet.
The way they could do this pop for certain superstars is replace the overall system with Popularity, it does pretty much the same thing as overall, but also gives that extra crowd reaction.

I mean, to be honest, if they wanted to, they could give us different commentators for the different shows. If NBA 2k can cycle through and give you like 9 different commentators to mix up randomly. I don't see how it would be any different for WWE 2K. they already have different ring announcers set for the different shows.

One of the biggest things that I'd personally like is a free roaming mode for the stories. Getting to walk around backstage and interact with other superstars again, maybe even come to the ring before a show and "train". Or sit in Gorilla while the show is going on, that might be asking too much, but would be pretty neat. Set it up more like an RPG

I’ve always had this suggestion when it comes to crowd noises: they should input real ones. One of the loudest pops someone’s ever had should be used when a character is a babyface. Same as heel, the loudest boo should be used. That way it doesn’t feel generic.
The referee's breaking fights apart with the classic voice lines of Adam Pearce ,,ENOUGH, YOU WANT TO FIGHT, YOU WANT TO FIGHT, GOOD, YOU'RE HAVING A TITLE MATCH NOW!, ,, I NEED A MEDIC OVER HERE COME ON!" and ,, I need a drink..." somehow NEED to be in the game 😂😂😂
One small detail that needs to be added is the effects on limb damage like if someone legs are in moderate or critical damage they limp while walking and running, kicks becomes weaker and the same if you target the arms and other effects for head and body damage and also they need to add a feature where if someone like Roman Reigns or Seth Rollins for example enters a match with wet hair it dries up by the end of the match like real life leaving their hair messy depending on how long the match goes and if someone with long hair enters a match with dry hair it will look wet by the end of the match depending on the length as well and blood needs to able to be smeared on wrestlers clothes, hands, hair, and other parts of the body when busted open like real life i will say the blood in 2K24 is best it's looked in any game tho

In mygm and universe mode we need the most basic ability to be able go look at what matches were booked the week before so I don’t repeat matches, I’m currently using my notes app to note all my matches and results down
I want the "L.E.D. to working on ring and barricades during the matches and have an option to turn them off in the settings for the ppl who don't. I want it. 👍
A simple thing I would like is to clean up the wrestler selection. Like, if I go into Play Mode just to set up a simple match, I only want to see the wrestlers who are currently available to me. I don't need to see a bunch of [LOCKED] slots to remind me to play MyFaction (which I really don't). And another great addition would be when selecting a member of a team or faction - have a separate section available with faction members to choose from, instead of defaulting to one specific partner and then having to sift through the whole roster to select a different partner.
I'm glad you touched on the rewards, because I've been feeling that way for a few years now.
One thing I appreciated about 2K19 was the points system that they had across the different modes of the game.
Like playing matches in exhibition gave you a certain amount of points, depending on the match rating and running shows in Universe modes also did the same.
Then you could use those points to unlock stuff or upgrade your wrestler in MyCareer. Or just for those of us who like scorekeeping, just watching the point continue to rack up.
That's the kind of little stuff I miss because you always felt like you were earning something the more you played in each different mode.
I've always wanted a pinball feature like you knock your opponent and an press Y or something and your opponents get up straight away but still groggy so you can chain moves together rather than do a move, pick opponent up, tie up,then do next move. Essentially wake up taunts but with out theatrics and you can prompt them while doing a move.I hope I explained it well.

Slightly bigger change: A camera mode. Nothing too fancy but one with adjustable depth of field and focus would be great.
also a very smal detail that i want is that everybody with straps should be able to pull them off especially for coustum character. Bron Breakker can pull them down, but when I changed the colour from it i couldnt do it anymore which is stupid.
also I would love to see something similar in other superstars like Trick Williams for exampel when he pulls off his hair tie or something like that. It just creates some kind of flow and coolness to a match in my opinion.
I think I figured out the issue. WWE 2k24 is one of my all time favorite wrestling games now, but that's because of my own effort. I've messed with sliders, adjusted settings, created my own arenas.
BUT THE BIGGEST ISSUE with the base game feeling stale is that none of the wrestlers feel like themselves. Everyone for the most part has the same basic "standing elbow drop" move-set. In my game (after also playing with stats and sliders), Randy Orton vs John Cena doesn't feel like two video game characters robotically jogging around a ring. It FEELS like Randy Orton vs. John Cena.
You made some good points.
There are some changes I would make.
- To go along with your point of crowd noises, I think they need to add more crowd noises to CAWs. When the CAWs come out, the crowd noise is like non existent.
-My issue with universe mode is I don’t find it fun. It is just making match after match with cut scenes added in between. There is no story element to it, and I find myself trying to make up the story in my head. You might have mentioned this before, but able to look back at the previous week to see what you did. If you leave the game for a month or something. It might help to remember what you were doing.
Also import your tag teams to universe mode
- I actually really like the aspect of gm mode, but PLEASE get rid of the class system. Let us choose who WE want. There is no reason a Austin/Hogan (in their prime) should be a 2 star match.
Increase that budget.
I have been saying that from the beginning, we don’t need 15 John cenas and 10 undertakers. Make attires. Maybe 3 undertakers: deadman, biker, and current (from match with AJ) and 2 Cenas: Rap gimmick and Modern Cena, 3, if you want current with the long hair. Not 15.
That’s a few things that come to my mind at the moment.
I need them to allow for custom ringside, stage, etc video. It drives me crazy that I'll have a perfect entrance setup for a CAW but then a wrestler's name is all over the place.
To add to the submission crawl, I'd add holding the submission... "I have til 5!"
It’s the intricate details for me. For example being able to quickly roll in and out of the ring to restart the refs count. Also give us more slots for community creations!!!

Make the announcers actually say the superstars name (not just the ring announcer)
Bring back created finishers for the ones who want it for there created superstars
And finally bring back created storylines and make the created entrances have more of a variety to choose from

It annoys me when my custom world championship is on the line and despite being the main belt on raw/smackdown michael cole would say something like "i havent heard much of this championship" its a small thing but it just doesnt feel right
@ right instead of saying that saying something like “this is a new championship and everybody wants a piece of it” or “this championship has high stakes and everybody wants it at its early stage” make the custom championships mean something like real titles in the game

The game used to include separate commentary teams. I can't recall the year it was included, but we definitely had it when JR and King were one of the commentary teams with Cole on another.

Gameplay wise, I would like the combo system to go honestly. I don’t think it really works well with a wrestling simulation game. I would like to see chain wrestling come back as well like in 2K19. I really do like the trading blows mechanic so if they brought chain wrestling back, that’s another aspect of methodical wrestling that could be in the game. Use of the title at ringside during matches if there is a champion. Creations, more CAW slots would be nice even if it is just 150 or 200. Streamline the cutscene system more, add more control for the player to do things they want to do like run-ins, cash ins, more variety. I always find it difficult to really get to what I want to do even if it is a simple run in. It’s often confusing to just try and do a simple thing. That’s it in terms of the small things. There’s plenty of big things, but they need to handle some of the smaller stuff first before they get to adding anything major.
One really small thing I’d really like would be that if you come out with a manager and your manger happens to be a champion, the manager should have that title around his/her waist. I always thought it was weird that the managers never came out with their respective titles
I have so much on my list that I feel like I would just be happy if another developer took over the franchise but unfortunately I know that won’t happen 😭
Small Changes - Referee response time, championship physics (going through clothing, not sitting on shoulders during cutscene), fix facial expressions (not every wrestler is angry when beginning a match), remove the fixed fighting stance and walk (miss Shinsuke's iconic walk as the match starts)
Universe Mode needs some TLC and really an overhaul
What I would want is
- promos not only the regular promos but like talk shows like example select The Miz and you have The Miz Show, select Kevin Owens you get the KO Show, select Bayley you get Ding Dong Hello Show, select Alexa you get A Moment of Bliss or Alexa's Playground etc., and this is where I wish Kayla Braxton was still in the company should also do backstage promo/interviews
- intergender matches
- maybe if you want to do 24/7 Championship they should have a chase in universe mode
- 5 vs 5 to have the classic survivor series matches
- elimination chamber tag team match with 6 teams if you want to recreate or do a elimination chamber tag match
Mix SHUT YOUR MOUTH, HCTP, SVR 07,09,11, 2K14,19 All into One Game....those games will give us all the stuff back that we ask for that is missing....we also need BETTER MAT SOUNDS ALSO!
On the entrances, when we customize an entrance, incorporating the title into our customized entrance and not be forced to pick a generic championship entrance

Major updates:
Expand existing features- 1v2 finishers, catch finishers, and tag team entrances.
Set up Tag Team Finishers to be hit from anywhere, not just in the corner.
Attire slots for characters that aren't different. (You literally said that one as I typed it).
Set Weapon Finishers, they already gave Sandman the unique White Russian Leg Sweep as a grapple, and in previous games, RVD could throw a chair at your face, which he then kicked.
The minor stuff is stuff like adding logos in updates over time, or fixing commentary flubs.
Regarding the pops the biggest issue is the timing. Something most players probably haven’t even noticed, the pop doesn’t happen when the music hits the pops happen when the superstar comes out. For example when Stone Colds glass breaks, nothing when he comes out crowd pop. It should be when the music hits. I have always maintained that the game is best in the small details. Just like my favorite tweak they made for 2k24 how the ref slaps the mat. They kind of crank their arm which they didn’t do in 2k23 making it much more like it is IRL thats a fine detail that to me makes a big impact.

I'm praying they listen to you about Submissions. Such a small tweak, such a huge impact. Crawling and camera cuts, then I'll be fine with the mindless button mash. I'd add onto your Entrance camera angles idea to maybe have a Camera Cut Button you can press in-match to add drama to big spots the game might not recognize on its own, so you could make your own OMG Moments. It'd also give you something to do during tag matches in Universe.

The one thing I want you to stop doing is making us fight with these selling cards in my faction. It is very stupid for them to do that.
On your first point, they should add the pop meter to Individual character universe mode. This way you know how you’re performing as a character.
I'm trying to remember how far back it was in the series. But there were games in the SVR days were wrestlers could grab the rope and you could hold on and get DQ'd if you held on until the 5 count. It would be great if we coulw so that again. It would also be cool if we could also have a corner mini-game where your striking the opponent and the ref counts until 5.

I’ve always wanted a function where you can edit the probability of a certain superstar winning that match. Or you could add a function where if both superstar in a title match are down and mr/mrs MITB cashes in. Or interference like you said. Or a return of some superstar related to that match.
I think the idea of more submissions having the crawl feature would be great. Beyond crawl feature, I think being able to hold the submission for up to 4 counts should be incorporated as well.
Lastly, a cool feature would also be the ability to pull the opponent back to the center of the ring. I think it should be something submission specialists like Kurt Angle and Brett Hart could do and maybe it costs 2 finishers to do and makes it almost a guaranteed win
Guys they put this engine together with ducttape so all these things would be wonderfully to have but it seems like if thy try and give us any of this it will brake what does work on the game
In the old SVR games you could charge camera angles in Advanced Entrances but it was very barebones and I barely used it

Dynamic camera cuts and angles would be great. Would really make it feel like wwe production with cuts after certain moves and moments.

My favorite all time wrestler is the Undertaker. And my pet peeve that always gets me is that they can't get the entrance right. The standard is that Taker does his entrance, takes the hat and coat off as he does the eye rolls thing, which is good. But then I want to edit Taker's attire to his 2010 attire and now the coat and hat looks very awkward.
Sorry for the double post but in SvR07 they had different animations for initial grapples. I wish they would do the same for 2K25.
Its unrealistic to use the collar & elbow tie up animation. That's only done in the beginning of matches irl. It's more of a test of strength/positioning battle. It makes no sense to do it on a dazed opponent.
@AK_Pochino I used to have every AKI game and played it religiously, but it's been severely outdated for almost 2 decades. The nostalgia heads are definitely to blame

Features I’d Love to See in WWE 2K25
New Features:
• Head of Creative Mode: Essentially a revamped Create-a-Story mode, but more detailed. This should include everything we had in the past-intros, outro credits, dynamic branching paths, and the ability to craft contenders for titles. Better yet, integrate it into MyGM for a seamless experience where you can manage storylines alongside your roster!
• The Return of Create-A-Finisher: Was it over-the-top? Sure, but it was pure creative gold. Let us craft those ridiculous, jaw-dropping moves again-wrestling is all about the spectacle!
• Streamline Modes: Take the best features from Universe Mode and fuse them into MyGM. Universe has run its course. And as for MyFaction… please, 2K, just stop. My wallet is crying, my soul is exhausted.
• Submission Crawls: Borrow from real-life drama-add the ability for wrestlers to crawl to the ropes during submissions. It would add so much tension to matches!
• Cross-Gender Creation Freedom: Let us mix and match creation suite parts between male and female wrestlers. It's 2024-we’re past arbitrary restrictions.
• Bring Back Advanced Music Creation: We used to be able to assign multiple music tracks. This worked wonderfully-why was it ever removed?
• Revamped Create-a-Video: This feature desperately needs a facelift. Make it a full-fledged editor with frame-by-frame options so we can create custom titantrons that flow seamlessly. The current setup just doesn’t cut it.
MyGM Improvements:
• Ditch Classes: This isn’t World of Warcraft! Classes are too limiting and kill creativity on match cards. Let us make the matches we want, with any wrestlers we choose.
• Fix the Rating System: The in-match star ratings are too easy to max out and don’t mean much. Make it harder to earn, but impactful. For example, hitting 5 stars during a match could boost its rating, but rivalries, stipulations, and crowd investment should ultimately determine how fans judge it.
• Optional Injuries: Wrestlers getting injured every other week? No thanks. Let us toggle injuries on or off for a smoother experience.
Universe Mode:
• Honestly, just scrap it. It’s outdated. Take what’s still good and move it to MyGM.
Showcase Mode:
• Either reimagine it or retire it. If you keep it, go back to the 2K16-style format with commentary, no music interruptions, and minimal slingshot cinematics. Save those for the big moments, like a match-ending finisher-less is more.
Miscellaneous:
• Increase Image Limits: 1,000 images is way too restrictive. Aim for 100,000-we’re not building PowerPoints here, we’re designing epic custom creations!
• Post-Match Breakout Cutscenes: When chaos erupts, let referees and GMs storm the ring to break up the brawls. The generic taunt we have now? It’s lifeless.
• Improved Camera Angles: In tag matches or multi-man bouts, the overhead "dungeon crawler" perspective feels out of place. Add dynamic, ringside-style shots for a more immersive experience. Even the main camera could use less movement-stick to simple pans and zooms to keep the action grounded.

The biggest small detail that I need to see improvement on...is the SuperCharger. It's optional. Always has been for those who want the grind, and that's great. But while it's optional, I need this thing to go back to unlocking EVERYTHING. If 2K wants to leave the MyFaction nonsense out of that, so be it. But the SuperCharger needs to go back to giving ALL wrestlers, arenas, and CAW parts from all the other modes. The logic behind that is that, while there's always a deep roster and a good selection of arenas...at the end of the day, there's still only so many wrestlers and arenas, and it makes no sense having to grind like this for the same stuff every year. In MyRise in particular, it's literally the same arenas every year that are locked behind that mode.
I hope we can edit trio entrances in 2k25

They need to add the ability to add more than 5 members to a faction
I'd like more detail in the Championships instead of the flat image. Also, side plates need an overhaul like have each belt have thei own side plate options (like the WWE and WHC have their own section) for all the belts
They gotta just make universe mode like raw 2 season mode the cut scenes and options are crazy good, crazy thinking hows good that game was and that was made 20 years ago..., also whats with community creations never working these days 😢

I like the idea of weapon customisation ... it would also be cool to be able fo assign a default weapon in the creation suite. In the game superstars like Triple H have a default weapon (e.g. a sledgehammer), they grab this the first time they go for a weapon. It would be cool to have that as a customisation option in WWE 2K going forward.
I hope the championship victory scene should also be when it’s a non title win
Working and moving stage trons for ramp camera
They need to bring back the reversal limits AND visible damage/fatigue. Destroying your opponent only for them to reverse and bounce back as if nothing ever happened is absolutely ridiculous.
I wish they have Raw is War arena and the proper fist arena in WWE2k25. Plus with legends they have they’re proper titantron
