    My favorite part is the quad with the stock looking tires doin just fine :) Finding a way around is just as fun and twice as cheap!

      @MrBossilini 3 роки тому +1

      Yeaaaaaa about that , I don’t find it as much fun going around . But ya my 350 kodiak will go to the same destination as my renegade , but it’s not going through the same holes .

    Those are quite the machines. I have a 570 SPortsman with a 2' lift and 27s on it. I am on 100 acres here in ME. My mud is alot of clay though....sucks trying to wash it off. It sticks and leaves a permanent stain on the plastic. Great video guys! Enjoy the rides!

      try tire shine on the plastic when done claenup.

    When the Polaris bell to gets wet simply put the machine in neutral hold it at about 3000 RPM is for 3 or 4 minutes it will dry the belt and then drive out of the hole

    I was finally able to get a new ride to replace the RZR I had that I had to sell. I couldn’t a new RZR or anything fancy like these. All I oiled manage was a Sportsman 450. It at least gets me out of the house.

      I love it when people compare a honda to a xxc or scrambler. A civic or corolla will last forever, but a mustang or corvette will be alot more fun to use. Ones a boring dependable machine, the other is a high performance that will give you alot more fun.

    it would be interesting to see a 1000cc straight axle, bc straight axles just dont break, you would had to do something really stupud to break one. and with 1000cc it would turn big tires fine so you could put some big tires to give you the extra ground clearance. and if you wanted too imagine having a axle paddle on a can am

    Smaller lighter machine. Less relax. Less drag. More traction. I’ve taken an 05 scrambler 500 with factory tires against a bombardier and grizzly with 24” superswampers and won every time. Ride the rear through and the front out. Less time. Less sink. Less stuck.

  • @Trindal
    @Trindal 5 років тому

    You know the way it sucks down when you try to pull or winch it in? I’m not a welder but if you make a telescoping square tube post that looks like an upside down “T” that is say 4 feet tall with a small wheel to allow the winch cable to ride on. Instead of sucking further down it gets that point higher than the winch it could helps pull up and out. At least in Theory. Could be a nice add to the tools while on long trails. All I ask is if it works and you start selling them hook me up with one. If it doe# real we’ll hook me up with a nice rig to match, Lol! Safe riding fellas!

    I own both machines. Drama with both when pushing the limit. The rider of the Polaris was leading the pack. ( the Ginny pig). This could have happen to any of those machines. The Polaris ( lead driver) was driving like a cuteee pie. Hit the gas ang grow a pair and if you notice something wrong; investigate. Your buddies even mentioned prior to the machine breaking an axle..hit the gas and drive with your thumb. Yes the Honda is reliable and is good for the farm. I own the rubicon as well. Perfect for working and some fun, not to the point extreme of what the XMR OR THE HIGH LIFTER.

    I have a high lifter put regular tires on it and tune it on a dyno. And race people with it. I think its one of the fastest drag bikes there is 0-50mph. Its a good trail bike in the north east u cant go over 50 on most of the trails you will die they are way to tight trees right next you. I have portals on my high lifter so i have to take them off too race its way to low with small tires on. Its a 160 percent gear reduction with portals. That is not a high lifter it is just a polaris with snorkles and tires. You need the internal gear reduction and the portal gear reduction.

  • @lilmikeyab
    @lilmikeyab 5 років тому +1

    That doesn't look like a true high lifter edition??? The highlifter that you buy straight from polaris doesn't have snorkels, just higher intakes/belt exhaust & relocated fans..... either way, it could have happened to any bike out there if it was truly a rock that got caught..
    What was the final diagnosis to the cause of the broken axle??

    • @ehTV1000
      @ehTV1000  5 років тому +1

      Verdict is that the Polaris clutch sure does grip. It was a rock lodged in between caliper and rim. Twisted the axle and bent both arms on the left rear, Before the belt started to slip. Wow, eh. Just bad luck

    Tires are too big and heavy, and all that power not a good combo. You also should change your diff. Fluid annually or biannually . It's a small amount of fluid and I find the diff does need alot more break in fluid change intervals judging from the amount of debris in it.

    Lot of haters in the comments. Just so everyone knows, can ams break too. Yall acting like can am is invincible. If someone prefers polaris why you gotta bash on em? Fuck it's about going out with your buds and having fun. Everyone needs to stop with all the hate.
