- Welcome to a brand new series on the channel! After a long time playing minecraft hardcore, I want to take it back to basics and play some regular minecraft survival!
In Minecraft Survival Episode 1, we built perfect starter house. But today we taking the massive task of transforming a village into a epic fishing village, complete with a ton of minecraft details and a super over powered pumpkin farm and melon farm!

lovely fishing dock, its great inspiration. A quick suggestion you should add some small fishing boats making more of a fishing lore as well

The dock is looking really nice Blockdown, and I'm not normally into changing textures but that note block change is *chef's kiss*
I really couldn't say no to those note blocks! Boardeline vanilla texture and I really don't have any other ices for note blocks 😂

Dock looks super good. If you want to you could add more blocks to the suports of the pokey out bits to make it a floating dock.😊

Oh dude! You should put furnaces or composter on top of the hoppers linking up the iron farm to your storage. Reduces lag!

Getting some villagers bustling around the fishing village could look really cool if you could find a way to make them stay there, would probably mean you have to do the interiors, or at least put a load of beds in, but fences or walls around the edge would keep em in
I did think this but they would definitely all die 😅😅😅
@BlockdownBuilds yeah it would be slow and painful for you and them 😂 just every time you go back there there's a few fewer villagers about 😂

I am soooo sad I missed the livestream! But it's kind of inevitable, I'm in the farthest(almost) time zone possible haha. However, this was amazing! The retaining wall is so pretty and I don't think I've ever seen the wheat fields placed up above the town like that before, I'm really digging it. And the BOATS! So cool that you could work with Rex to get those because they are a fantastic touch! It's so interesting to see what builds work in some people's brains and what don't. You, Lord Blockdown, can build a castle like it's nothing, like BAM here's a castle! But a boat? I was thinking maybe it's a more organic shape thing? but your trees are so good so I don't know. It's just interesting. Uh sorry I wrote a novel, I hope you have a great weekend!

Block put slabs on the to stop the dripping.
You can leave the logs under the water unstripped or switch to stripped dark oak (for texture matching) to make the logs look like they're wet under the water

I remember during the original Let’s Play I spent three hours trying to replicate your pumpkin farm… only to realize you put a link to a more detailed guide in the description… I felt so stupid.
What you think about adding a crane to the docks to lift heavy crates of trade ships
I did originally plan on a crane but I just couldn't find the perfect spot for it. Definitely something we can add if we extend the dock though!

why dont you play with shaders on the whole time? I find it more enjoyable to watch when people play with shaders.
