Maleficent may be evil but I appreciate her calling the men out on victim blaming the princesses
Well Maleficent is widely considered one of the more beloved Disney villains. The 4 men at the table though are all widely considered some of the most hated villains across the Disney universe. So I actually find it funny seeing one of the more beloved villains interaction with the more unlikable villains in the way that she did. That to me was the icing on the cake for what was already a perfect Disney villain song.
According to the 4 men, Jafar is one of the most beloved villains because he has a lot of patience to do his job done like Maleficent and at least he was one of the last villains to sing the song towards the end!
From their view that is correct to blame the princess for their problems
To be fair most of the princesses are pretty naïve… Most of them were very charming but still they were pretty stupid 😂
@@brieezy. not stupid
First we had Gothel, Evil Queen and Lady Tremaine as Team Abusive Moms. Now we’ve got Gaston, Hans and Frollo as Team Misogyny
Jafar should be on the list as well since he outright said he always believed women should have no voice. I feel the two stepsisters could also be the cheerleaders of Team Misogyny as well.
@@matthewcrispin4070 The "Team Pick Me Girls"
Incels the musical
More like team incels, but it still stands.
What is misogyny and what are incels?
I like how Prince Hans look so uncomfortable as Drizella asked him if she or her sister was hot and as he attempts to compliment them both, Frollo saved him by saying, "With your eyes closed." Because Frollo knew that inside, Hans was gross out by them but since he was raised as a prince, he had no choice but to be polite to them. Frollo even felt bad for Hans as Lady Tremaine was trying to set him up with either of her daughters. "The poor devil."- Frollo before taking a sip of wine.
Frollo’s evil, no heck, but I respect him for this.
Maleficent
Even an evil prince has his standards
also i love how when gaston said that hans has already maidens fighting over him, he made disgusted face when saying "maidens" (1:06)
Well I guess he’s not completely evil
Maleficent roasting the misogynists with one line made me grin ear to ear
You know what made me cackle frollo’ s “With your eyes closed..”
I like the part where everyone in the tavern said dignity because this shows how dispite being villains they know how much of a scumbag those three are and are silently agreeing with the heros rejection of them
Four not three
Actually, is a reference of the beauty and the beast live action
Nice
@@brandoncolis3841 Five not four. The server was a reference to beautiful Mad Madame Mim, then Clayton and Madame Medusa were sitting together along with Mother Gothel and McLeach. Yama and Cruella were sitting behind Jafar as well. That makes seven underrated villains.
@@prestonestes1388 Thank you! I was trying to figure out who was the character in the red dress with turquoise earrings and google was no help!!
You know, I wasn’t expecting Frollo roasting the Stepsisters to get me to cackle so hard, but it did. Well done.
well he's good at burning people
Ikr bro it was a good one too 😂
I wasn't expecting Frollo to be funny at all, but his burns in this series could ignite Hellfire.
@@Alejandroigarabide 😂 nice one 😂
He did do a minor roast in "It's Not Over Yet" after muttering "poor devil" after Lady Tremaine told Captain Hook she found Prince Hans worthy for one of her two daughters. She asked him "what was that" in disbelief, and he muttered nothing and then started to slip his drink. Frollo is so surprisingly good with humor, all the villains are.
Judge Claude Frollo is quite impressively portraited. His posture, costume, demeanor - just on point.
Same. It's like he stepped straight out of the movie!
Same with Jafar.
I actually haven’t heard of him I’ve only heard of all the other ones in the music video
Did you know Madame Mim also makes a cameo in this video
Madame Medusa is sitting with Clayton
"What do you call that?"
"Dignity!"
Clayton and McLeash just became 10 times more attractive just for not agreeing with the sexism of the other guys.
They may both be greedy murderers, but at least they draw the line at sexism. Heh. Gotta love it! 😄
"we may be villains... But YOU'RE pondscum!"
Didn’t clayton accidentally hang himself after trying to stab a half naked man?
@@nathanford2072 Yep. Blind rage clouded his reasoning big time.
And, best of all, that's actually pretty in character for both of them!
Neither McLeach nor Clayton seemed to have any interest in romantic interludes in their respective movies as they were both driven by a combination of greed and bloodlust, so I could pretty easily picture them not being very sympathetic towards Gaston, Frollo and Hans.
Prince Hans: How does one choose between two such extraordinary creatures?
Frollo: With your eyes closed.
Almost fell out of my chair laughing! Priceless line and reaction from the girls!
That was my favorite part too!
Me too. I was like "Emotional Damage"
that was funny I almost choked
True. What a savage, that Frollo.
That one sent me. I almost died
I like how Malecficnet gave her side of a short version of her story. ABout how men were the ones at fault and not the women. How King Steffon needed fame and Glory, being a hero in everyone's eyes and she hinted that no one actually knew or asked how he got hold of his crown. A woman by his side is probably Maleficent but her song quote, "He pushed her down." Probably, meant he didn't give his gratitude to her and married his wife whom he claimed was the reason why he is king now.
I think the woman by her side might be Queen Leah not Maleficent. I think in the 2014 movie that Stephen pushed down (in a sense) Queen Leah
@@PrincessofEllabur that could true, but either way it seemed that king Steffan was at fault. Well to the wingless fairy Maleficent that she forced that way.
Mabye he was fighting a war to save his kimgdom and malaficent used her magic to help him win but he wasn’t grateful and banished her to the forbidden mountains
@@TheMagnaficent In the Maleficent movie, Stefan was a peasant and he heard that the dying king made a final proclamation that whoever cuts the wings off of Maleficent, they would be the next king. Stefan then eventually met Maleficent, and they fell in love. However, while she was sleeping, Stefan cut the wings off of her back and took them back to the castle, while Maleficent didn’t notice until the next morning that she did not have her wings
This Maleficent is my favorite
I do like how the chairs lightly match what they were in their stories.
Gaston's chair has a fur covering - Being a proud hunter, he likes to show off his prowess, no matter where he is
Frollo and Hans have fancy looking chairs - Showing their more privileged backstories
Jafar has a rather plain, simple chair - Likely showing how he was hiding his powers and staying in the background to easier manipulate the Sultan
A detail I love about this is that when Jafar and Frollo start singing even Anastasia and Drizella are grossed out and are like yeah .... no
I think it's because Frollo and Jafar aren't hot enough to be saying that, you'd be surprised how much men can get a way with if they look good.
@@TheGhostKing126 fits with Drizela and Anastasia's overall personality too
This feels like a fantastic bookend to "Tough Love" where Queen Grimhilde, Lady Tremaine and Mother Gothel lament about their stepdaughters/charges. Only this time, it's the men complaining about their failed love lives. Love that Jafar and Frollo get included in a verse together as well. "Or have it your way and be burned alive." was an epic line!
I won't lie the way Jafar and Frollo delivered those lines was pretty badass.
@@matthewcrispin4070 Exactly! I also noticed that on Jafar's lines in the song, the music has an Arabian theme while Frollo's has church bells. Clever.
@@glowworm2 yeah I know 😊 😌 😏
@@glowworm2 I didn’t notice but that is cool! Thanks for pointing that out!
They could have used Frollo for Tough Love as well, since he did adopt Quasimodo after all. Of course, he would have been the only male at the table, but that was no problem for Gaston in the Bad Never Looked So Good episode.
Love the 'Dignity' line with Claton and Gothel in the background.
I think that's Madame medusa from the rescuers

Sorry Gaston you're on your own 😂😂😂
''The difference between you and me, is now I'm living happily'' is such an underrated line, it's how victim blamers feel for blaming others for their doings, they don't.
4:54 frollo checking his nails while talking about brutal murder is comedy gold
5:10 iconic
Very iconic
5:05 Maleficent!
Idk if anyone has noticed this but when Gaston sang the line "Yeah listen to the man and ignore the wife. That's the only way for a happy life" , Anastasia lightly shook her head and looked at Drizella while Drizella's face was like "Ugh this man". They gave me the vibe of "pick me" girls but they still see something isn't right from Gaston xD.
This is just my observation btw, the song is a bop and I can't stop listening to it 🎉🎉
I did notice that! Even the stepsisters were ready to reject him over that line. Gaston builds himself up as "the most admired man in France," but technically he is a "peasant" living in a small village. I doubt Lady Tremaine would approve.
@@HououMinamino yes, i feel like Lady Tremaine wouldn't think highly of Gaston, he doesn't have any real title and overall just an arrogant guy who likes to admire himself
@@anhlehoanglan3596 He totally exaggerated, too.--or rather, outright lied, just to build himself up. The trophies were from animals he hunted, yet he said they were from "the wars," and then he claimed the three women that fawned over him were "widows," which I doubt is true. And also claimed that Belle left him for a monster, leaving out the fact that the "monster" turned into a prince.
His line, "Did she think she was going to do better than a prince?" about Anna...well, Belle did better than marrying Gaston--she did indeed marry a prince!
Now I want to see a video where Lady Tremaine puts him in his place for lying to her daughters, ha ha.
@@anhlehoanglan3596 Indeed.
She is a social climber, and as Gaston does not come from royalty or nobility, I can picture her not being very impressed with him.
@@HououMinaminoTo be fair, they draw on a number of different canons and continuities to flesh out the villains's backgrounds and motivations, like integrating some elements of the Angelina Jolie "Maleficent" movie for Maleficent's backstory or elements from the "Little Mermaid" musical and other sources to have Ursula as Triton's halfsister and the demigoddess descendent of Poseidon.
So they also technically could reference the live action "Beauty and the Beast" where Gaston indeed explicitely was a war veteran.
I already knew this was gonna be a fun one solely because of Hans' inclusion, but the cameos from some of the C-list Disney villains (McLeach, Madame Medusa, Mad Madam Mim, & Clayton) as well as the added depth to Maleficent's backstory made it even better. Kudos to everyone involved; keep up the good work!....
Personally, I'd really like to see Goob from Meet the Robinsons make an appearance in the series at some point.
@@legoking6165 Given that they bothered to reference McLeach of all villains, you may very well get your wish someday. Personally, I hope they bring in Rourke from Atlantis the Lost Empire, or Radcliffe from Pocahontas.....
@@nickmohammadi454 Id love to See the other disney villains. especially if they bring characters from Atlantis
@@nickmohammadi454
Earlier in the series, the villains were trying to get their hands on the "Sundial of Chronos" so they could control time and undo their defeats and while watching that episode, I thought to myself "If they want to travel through time, they should just enlist the help of Goob."
Where did you see madam mim?
“I’m the best man in all of a France!” Gaston exclaims right in front of Frollo
Red cloaked figures appear in the back chanting Kyrie eleison
I like that after the song the sisters realized what kind of person Gaston is and switched back to Hans and at the end stand next to him.
The one thing all these Disney villains having common is:
The step sisters wanted Prince Charming.
Gaston wanted Belle.
Hans wanted Anna.
Frollo wanted Esmeralda.
Jafar wanted Jasmine.
And Maleficent wanted Stefan
This is one way to add more villains, Mothel Gothel and McLeach, Madame Medusa and Clayton, Cruella and Yzma. I think the waitress is Mad Madame Mim in her beauty form.
Yes, I love how they managed to include all of these villains. I wonder if the more background villains will make more appearances later on but until then, we have them catching our eyes in the background!

Yeah! It’s really cool seeing all these other villains
Man ! Maleficent sure has a good voice , although it only lasts for less than a minute but her singing part is my favorite of the entire song 😍😍!
She is one of three in the group American Sirens along with the other brunette who has played Vanessa, the altar ego of Ursula in Villain’s Lair and Unexpected Musicals Grande Mermaid. They are outstanding. I recently learned that the third of the American Sirens, the blonde, is married to EJ Cardona from Voctave. I keep waiting for her to show up in the videos. 1:25 - Yzma and Cruella in the background, their conversation would probably be pretty interesting _Yzma might try making a duplication potion so Cruella could have endless amounts of fur!_ 5:05 - Maleficent is an Icon, all of PattyCake Productions' songs are such a bop, the storylines are entertaining, and the details in the backgrounds of the videos are perfect- actually everything is.
They could also be talking about what happened in S1E8, because there Cruella, Gaston and Mother Gothel were the ones who knew about Ursula/Vanessa. Yzma knew it too but she just appeared in Bad Never Looked so Good, so I hope she will have more screentime this season.
Nah, knowing what Yzma's potions typically do, it's most likely a potion to turn people into dogs 🙃
Hans left out the part where he tried to kill both Anna and Elsa 😂
He's trying to make himself the victim
Manipulative
Of course he did.
Hans is a pro at spinning things to manipulate people into siding with him.

Also, it's kind of ironic for Anastasia to say the thing about the fact that choosing a peasant is a sign of poor breeding, considering the fact that in one of the direct-to-video sequels she fell for a baker.

Fun Fact: The Bimbettes are the closest counterparts to Belle's sisters from the original Beauty and the Beast fairy tale. Belle's sisters were cut from the film by Linda Woolverton, because she wanted to have significant focus on Belle's distaste for Gaston, and also because she felt they would have otherwise been mistaken for the evil stepsisters Anastasia and Drizella Tremaine from Cinderella.

He seemed completely sincere and there was never a scene where he's going on a evil rant like a lot of other disney villains tend to do. But yeah be careful who you Trust.
@@matthewcrispin4070 Basically, Hans was what we call the "Twist villain" trope--basically something Disney and Pixar have a tendency for doing in their movies for a bit. That's where the character you don't suspect, turns out to be the villain. Sometimes they work, and sometimes they don't. My favorite one was Ernesto De La Cruz from Pixar's Coco.
I won't lie I was a bit disappointed to find put Hans was the bad guy simply because I was hoping the villain might have fire powers or fear powers to counter Elsa but overtime I have come to accept Hans because looking back it would probably be too cliche. As for my favorite twist villain it would definitely have to be Professor Callihan from Big Hero 6 I think that's how you say his name. I wonder if the potion was specifically given to Cruella to protect her on her voyage (from both the other villains who are mad at her for her betrayal and from the inherent dangers of the ocean voyage)? After all, Yzma gave it to Cruella in secret instead of sharing it with the larger group like all the other villains usually do.
@@lyndseystrait1513 yzmas got favoritism i see(͡°‿ ͡°)
I love how Frollo always finds a way to roast any of the villains, BTW great job! I've waited a lot for this episode!
Frollo roasting everyone is a mood!
I wonder if he can roast Maleficent without getting fried. 🤣.
@@hannahmetzger4880 he's already survived hellfire, so maybe... 👀
I love this series! I also love the detail in the background villains in this episode, they're instantly recognizable. Clayton, Madame Medusa, and McLeach being the new faces to this series. I also like seeing Yzma in her lab outfit, and of course Mother Gothal and Cruella.
There's one more new face in the background among the villains. The bar maid is none other than Mad Madam Mim herself.
@@glowworm2 I don’t know that character... what movie is she from?
@@anubiskingjensharp1965 The Sword in the Stone.
Specifically, even though Mim normally looks like a short, fat, hideous old crone, there's a brief scene in which she changes her appearance to look beautiful for a few seconds.
The waitress is heavily based off of how Mim looked when she did that.
Btw, my theory on Yzma being in her lab outfit is that she was doing some work in her lab to come up with a new potion. She was so engrossed in this that more time passed than she realized, so she looked at the clock and noticed she was running late for her regular dinner with her friend Cruella, and so she hurried over to the tavern without having time to change into something more stylish.
Another awesome episode! I love it when Anastasia and Drizella get in on the fun, but I loved the background cameos of the other villains, especially ones we had not yet seen before: Clayton, Madam Mim, Madame Medusa, and Percival McLeach; though it is always a delight to see Mother Gothel, Cruella, and Yzma (in her Lab Gear!). Thank you for making these! I hope we continue to see more of Hans!
Yzma must have been working late in her lab, and so she had to rush to her regular meet- up with Cruella without having time to change!
@@Adamguy2003 yeah I agree ✋ 😊 👍
FINALLY THEY'RE BACK, i can't wait to see this masterpiece
Edit: coming back here for the 15th time, i'm addicted
ok but them singing all together at 5:40 and sounding SO fine 🖤
I loved Maleficent calling out the 4 of them, and the characters were very well impersonated. Truly well made.
medusa and clayton make their debut, i'm glad to see more obscure villains
Words can't describe how much I loved this. The inclusion of McLeach, Clayton, Madame Medusa and Madame Mim has me hyped that they'll each get more screen time in future episodes.
"But that's a lesson, and it can be taught."
That line is so menacing.
Finally somewhere where people dont forget frollo exists.
I like that more villains in the background that aren't in the villains lair often like Clayton madame Medusa,Percival c mcleach, madame mim in her young form,Yzma
Yzma is in Bad Never Looked So Good, but your point still stands (Also, like the added variety, namely by having Yzma in her lab clothes)
@@NWolfsson In my headcanon, when that happened, Yzma lost track of time working in her lab, remembered at the last second that she had her regular dinner meet-up with her friend Cruella, so she had to quickly rush to the pub without time to change into anything more fashionable.
Love the Madam Mim cameo, hope she becomes a major player later
3.36 I love Jafar and Frollo's Reactions like bro please, your best friend's a parrot and a fireplace 💀
Adding Maleficent to the song and the part where she made the guy a king was a stroke of brilliance.
0:07 I really likes the tavern cover of Tough Love in the background!
Once again Pattycake Productions does not disappoint. Excellent music video and episode. I can't wait to see episode 4 to see where this goes.

HANS: Ladies, how's a man to choose between two extrodinary..... creatures
FROLLO: With your eyes closed.
Jafar reference to “speechless” song from live action Aladdin is perfect
More like his "personal opinion".
The guy that plays Hans is my cousin. Man, it just gives me a massive smile, watching him in this. 😊
So cool!
I love that the background music in the beginning is a bardcore version of "Tough Love." Frollo throwing shade at Anastasia and Drizella had me cackling"With your eyes closed!"
Drizella and Anastasia are both so hilarious when it comes to flirting with Prince Hans and then with Gaston when he starts singing as he shares his back story next lol
OMG this was great! I also love the idea that King Stephan came to power with Maleficent’s help and the villain’s perspectives on being dumped! MALEFICENT’S ICONIC ENTRANCE WAS AMAZING TOO! Also Hans looking like he was going to barf when looking at the Stepsisters had me dying! Overall, great video and am so excited this has come out!
@2:38 Which is funny, because she found an happy ending with the town's baker.
Also Madam Medusa and Clayton, two of the most obscure Disney Villains is great to see!
The lyrics for this song are sooooooo good! Even the harmonies are great!
@jf k yeah so cool and maybe add mozenrath next he was Jafar junior 😊😉
True though pattycake said that villaisn lair and Princess academy are based in tge original movies and leaving out sequels so I guess anastasia isn't redeemed in this
To be fair, I think Percival Mcleach is more obscure than Clayton.
@jf k Yzma actually did appear in a video already. "Bad Never Looked So Good!"
@@glowworm2 I suppose so! But it's sad that Disney lost the Tarzan IP thou
Obsessed with this AMAZING SONG, the villains in the background make this even better. Can’t wait to see where this season is going
i love the little detail of Anastasia and Drisella looking unsure and kinda disgusted during Frollo and Jafar's verse. Really shows that, deep down, they know these men are full of shit. Or maybe that's just me xD
Malificents part is definitely the best 5:00
Ah, I kinda wish we could've seen some artwork with Frollo, but still, he's awesome! ❤
Yeah! I was hoping for some artwork during his and Jafar's verse!
Love Maleficent putting the guys in place 😂 And Gaston putting his arms around the girls was just so perfectly in character.
Obssessed with Han's part here 1:40
🤭
I swear Maleficent manages to steal the show everytime even with screentime for less than a minute. What a queen 👑
Didn't expect to see so many other villains joining the party. I hope we'll be seeing others as we go along.
Maleficent's part slapped harder than an Asian mother's slipper
How I love Maleficent
I GODDESS!!!
I love the live action of Maleficent. It portrays how she was betrayed because of a selfish idiot who used her to be king, and she wasn’t even invited to his baby’s party which is just infuriating. I love how she called them out for blaming only the princesses when a king himself betrayed her. The song is so good
